NIT Durgapur M.Tech Thermal Engineering: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The Thermal Engineering department at the college is supported by cooperative faculty, though there is a shortage of staff. Tuition fees are 40,000 INR per semester. Campus placements are strong for BTech students, especially with software companies such as TCS, Infosys, and Oracle offering roles with salaries of 7.2 LPA, 3.6 LPA, and 5 LPA respectively.

LnT's recruitment is ongoing with no salary disclosed yet. However, MTech placements, particularly in the Thermal department, are limited, and Tata Steel did not shortlist any candidates. The placement process includes exams and interviews. Students admitted via GATE for postgraduate studies receive an MHRD scholarship of 12,400 INR per month for two years.
