Indian Institute of Information Technology Tiruchirappalli (IIIT) also called as IIIT Trichy was founded in 2013 and situated in Srirangam, Tamil Nadu. The university falls under 19 IIT’s under the non-profit Public-Private Partnership (PPP) proposed by Ministry of Human Resource Development.
IIIT Trichy has temporary campus residing with NIT (National Institute of Technology) Tiruchirappalli since March 2016 due to some reasons.

UG Courses
IIIT Trichy Admission in course like B.Tech in two fields such as:
- Computer Science and Engineering
- Electronics and Communication Engineering
Eligibility: Candidate must have completed 12th with minimum 75% marks and PCM as compulsory subjects. In addition a qualified score card of JEE Main is also compulsory.
PG Courses
Admission in M.Tech in IIIT Trichy is under three specializations:
- Computer Science and Engineering
- Software Engineering
- Database Systems
Eligibility: Candidate must have completed B.E/ B.Tech in relevant discipline with an aggregate of minimum 55%. Also, valid score card of GATE is also required.
