Hostel Facilities:

Hostel facilities here in vit Chennai is very good . All the rooms are new and we'll furnished. The only problem one can face here in vit hostels is the bunked bed . Other facilities include air conditioning rooms, 3star mess with 3 variation ( veg mess, non veg mess, and special mess) .Meals are very good compared to other colleges. The prices are on higher side . The hostels felt not at all affordable. There are pgs available around the campus.

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel facility is available in like different types two, three and four bedded but now new hostel blocks are built so don't know about it. Ac and Non AC are available and bathrooms are good and well maintained, hot water is also available for bathing and drinking, washing machines are available but have to pay for that seperate likewise dhobi is also available paid one. And coming to mess menu is good but few items taste good. In mess also there are different types like veg, non-veg and special. Special mess is what I prefer cause it has a few more items at breakfast and other times. Ac room fees are a little expensive.

Campus Life:

The college scene is a bit dull. there are about two to three fests namely technoVIt, vibrance etc. The hostels are way too strict and the campus regulations and time make it harder to enjoy. the leave procedure is too restrictive, especially for female students. the campus has multiple clubs but the festivities can be made a bit more enjoyable.

Campus Life:

There are many active events in the college, some of the most popular and large-scale events are TechnoVIT and Vibrance, TechnoVIT is a technology exhibition for students of 3rd Years-2nd Years collaborating together to give tech-related events. The other is the cultular extravaganza event "Vibrance" with a lot of food stalls, tech events, cultural events, dances, competitions and photography booths, etc name it all. Every student should definitely take part in a club for a required credit called FFCS Club Registration. Hence all students get an opporunity to work officially for a club, while also taking part in other clubs informally too. There are a lot of pages in instagram like vitrendz, vit official for news about clubs, or there are regular email newsletters to get info about club infras structure, events and recruitments. There are a lot of sports club, events too, be it inter-college or intra-college as well, everyday there's atleast 2 active events!

Campus Life:

Vibrance and technoVIT are conducted every year. Books and journals in the library are fairly abundant and are of good quality. It is very easy to borrow books and renew them online. Classrooms have decent amenities with charging ports and each floor also has drinking water. Sports are highly encouraged and competitions are held almost every week. There is a gym membership and various other memberships such as swimming pool memberships available. Students can easily borrow sports equipment to play during their free time at no additional cost.

It is a huge technical cultural fest conducted all over south India. We also have a yearly cultural fest called Vibrance. The amenities and infrastructure are very good. Libraries are open 24/7 during the exam period. We have a Rotaract club and girl up club run by vit students only

Campus Life:

There are multiple fests on campus but as there is too much population due to VITs intake, there will be heavy crowds and chaos, libraries are good with air conditioning and books on almost every topic you'd require. classrooms are basic with benches and boards, and sports events exist but for dayscholars, it's hard to participate because of timings, there are many clubs on campus like the dance club run by students as well as faculties.

There will be a lot of sports and extracurricular activities going on the campus in which you can participate and compete at the state and National level. Also, there are a huge number of clubs on campus in which you can gain experience yourselves and these groups are run by Students only one such club is NSS(National Service Scheme).
