VIT Chennai Scholarship

VIT Chennai offers scholarships to the top 1000 rank holders in VITEEE entrance exam under GV School Development Program (GVSDP). Following table shows the percentage of fee waiver according the rank acquired by a candidate:

Central and State Board Toppers	100% waiver on Tuition Fees (for all 4 years)
1 to 50 Rank Holder in VITEEE	75% waiver on Tuition Fees (for all 4 years)
51 to 100 Rank Holder in VITEEE	50% waiver on Tuition Fees (for all 4 years)
101 to 1000 Rank Holder in VITEEE	25% waiver on Tuition Fees (for all 4 years)

Terms and Conditions:
1. Scholarship for the First year will be applicable on the basis of rank as above.
2. From the Second year onwards, Scholarship will be applicable for each year if the student scored 8.0 or above CGPA, maintain the required Attendance and does not indulge in indisciplinary activities.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

There is no fee hike policy for every year. It is fixed for every year. The fees for the hostel and mess are fixed for everybody irrespective of their category. There is a category system in Vit. It is based on your rank in VITEEE. For Cat1 the course fees are around 2. 3 lakhs, for cat2 the fees are around 3.3 lakhs and go on increasing till cat5. No scholarships were offered for me on the campus.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The cost to study in VIT Chennai is a bit higher in the 3rd and 4th categories but quite reasonable in the 1st and 2nd categories. There are many scholarships provided on campus. Make sure to avail them. The fee for the course is only 400000 which is less than many other colleges.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee structure depends on ranking and counseling, starting from around 1.5 lakhs to around 5.5 lakhs depending on categories 1 to 5. Scholarships are available for top rankers and for the financially poor for this proof are needed to provided. Campus placements are good. Many students got jobs in IT companies and even mechanical and civil students got jobs in both IT and core jobs. From my experience, there is no reduction in fees even though in lockdown online classes they collected full fees from the students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee structure solely depends on your rank in the admission test and is accordingly good. There is a scholarship available to students too and again it's based on the merit of the student. Arrear courses charged a bit more than other colleges and I would consider it not that financially helpful. there is no need to learn the whole course again and there must be an option to just write the exam for the failed paper and thus pay way less than the required

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

As I mentioned before, the fees structure aligns with the rank you get during entrance exam, it doesn't vary each semester it is fixed per sem. The fees scholarship are categorized into 4-5 levels in rank-groups which are usually in the range of 1 Lakh, 2 Lakh, 3 and so on, it is subject to change with college, you do get good job placements and placement-cells constantly message you with opportunities with other universities, tie ups, etc.

I do not have much knowledge about scholarship. Apart from 300000 tuitions, college transport costs 39000. Internships with stipends are offered a lot. We get many internship and research opportunities through our college mail.

The fee structure is split into 5 categories for each department. the maximum fee category is 5 Lakh and the minimum is 1.98 lakhs. I am in my 3rd year hence we are on vacation. I am currently doing a summer internship.

The cost to study varies from 8 lakhs to 20 lakhs based on rank, there are no specific scholarships and financial assistance, there are scholarships based on family income from the government and job opportunities are scarce considering the population of VIT which is over 8k per batch per campus.

The fee structure is around 8 laks over four years of Graduation. That means around 2 laksh per year. VIT also provides a scholarship to merit students. and also you can apply for Government scholarships in the NSP portal of your criteria. Most of the top companies will come to the college like Microsoft, Amazon etc. and the package is around 30-40 lakhs.
