Throughout the program, you take a combination of flight training, aviation theory, and academic courses.
The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) – Aviation program requires 34 academic courses and Transport Canada certifications and licenses to complete.
Earn an honours degree through a combination of academic excellence and completing an additional 12 upper-level (numbered 300-400) business credits beyond the program requirements.
The BBA (Aviation) program can be completed in four years of full-time study, with students taking 10 courses per calendar year.
The BBA (Aviation) degree consists of a minimum of 120 credits.
After graduation, you may fly planes for corporate travel or charter flights for one of Canada's 800 on-demand aviation service providers.
Once you have flight hours under your belt, you may fly jets for major airlines or serve as a corporate jet captain.
The Co-operative Education option offers students in the BBA (Aviation) degree program the opportunity to obtain paid, career-related work experience in their field of study during their education at UFV. Pilot positions are not included in Co-op employment opportunities.
To be eligible to graduate, students must achieve a minimum GPA of 2.67 on all courses applicable toward the BBA program, and a minimum cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 2.00 on all courses attempted.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Following are the requirements for this program:

High school graduation (equivalent to Canadian grade 12 graduation).
From the high school: grade 12 Math with a min. C+ grade; one other academic grade 12 courses with a min. B grade. From post-secondary: a minimum GPA of 2.67 on a scale of 4.0 on all university-level credits attempted or 30 credits transferrable to a Business diploma or BBA with a minimum GPA of 2.67; prerequisites for MATH 141.
