- A Bachelor's degree in General Studies (BGS) offers students the flexibility to customize their learning experience and earn an undergraduate degree tailored to their personal and career interests.
- It is an excellent option if students want to pursue interdisciplinary studies, combine minors, or change their educational focus partway through their degree.
- They can also include credits earned while completing a certificate or diploma at UFV or elsewhere. Interdisciplinary learning stands at the heart of the BGS degree.
- That's why a breadth requirement is built into the degree to ensure them complete coursework from a variety of disciplines. In addition to satisfying the breadth requirement, they can select elective courses that lead to the completion of a general option, a thematic option, or one or more minors.
- They can also choose to combine a BGS with aviation training.
