This college was perfect for me because of its small size and a better climate than the rest of Canada with great quality of education.
Canadian colleges were much less expensive than in the USA. UBC has had great alumni and amazing professors in the past (some Nobel prize winners). Along with the amazing learning opportunities and financial reasons, the university's student life and the quality of life in Vancouver played a huge role in helping me decide that this was the uni wraith for me.
Vancouver is an expensive but beautiful city to live in. Other parts of Canada are really cold which makes commuting and life difficult. UBC had the best ranking among the universities that I applied to, so I chose to pursue my studies there.
It's a well-known university and had a project I wanted to work on with my current supervisor.
The course suited me and what I like and UBC is one of the most highly ranked universities and the campus is amazing.
One of the best business schools in North America, specializing in undergrad, concentration subjects, location, faculty, and networking opportunities.
Because it is the best university on the west side of Canada. I did not want to leave home and go away to another place. The admission process took a long time to complete. There were many questions and was accompanied by an online interview. I had two interview questions. The application fee was pretty reasonable. My grade 12 average was at least top 10% of my grade (out of 500 people).
Offered what I needed, new campus as a branch of UBC in Vancouver but included the small school vibes. The application process included an extensive personal profile but acceptances wasn't solely based on academic marks and achievement. Found that through that experience, they really valued their students and wanted them all to feel welcome and be able to give their gifts in many different ways across their campus.
A very good reputation and the major I wanted to go into is very highly ranked in the world. And the program I chose is very versatile and flexible so I can take many electives and be exposed to the other programs as well.
