How is civil engineering in IET Lucknow?

One of my friends pursued Civil Engineering from IET Lucknow. According to him, Civil engineering at IET Lucknow is really good. Let me share some facts I gathered from him, which might help you understand the question a bit better.

When my friend joined the college, the word was that IET Lucknow has one amongst the best faculty when it comes to the Civil Engineering Department.
The curriculum requires you to follow standard books which help in building fundamental concepts and are helpful for the preparation of various competitions.
As far as the laboratories of the department are concerned, some laboratories are not up to date but rest assured, these are amongst the best you will get in any AKTU college.
The laboratories which are not up to mark, still have most of the instruments in working condition.
