S.A. Engineering College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu was established in the year 1998-99 by the Dharma Naidu Educational and Charitable Trust. The college is an autonomous institute. The college is accredited by NBA and NAAC with an 'A' grade and is affiliated to Anna University.
The college offers 6 Undergraduate courses in Engineering, 4 Postgraduate courses in Engineering, a Masters of Computer Applications, and a Masters of Business Administration. The annual intake is 1110 students in all courses.
For admissions in the B.E course, a candidate is required to qualify the TNEA exam followed by counseling process. For PG courses M.E, MBA, and MCA, admissions are made on the basis of score in TANCET examination
