IMT Ghaziabad hostel is fully air - conditioned which can house nearly 500 students. There are separate hostels for male & female candidates. IMT Ghaziabad hostel rooms are of double sharing & the student has to change the room at the end of the first year. There is a one-step registration process for the hostel room. There is an air - conditioned dining hall in the dining building on the ground floor. This building can cater up to 600 persons at one time. Hostel Facilities:
No boys are not allowed to enter girls hostel it changes according to batch size. K block is considered to be best hostel and it is only for boys and seniors. There is option of single and double occupancy only and single occupancy is given to students suffering from medical issues. hostel accocation takes place on random basis . No hostel timings yes ffod is included no seperate canteen food quality is good yes hostels are guarded you don't get option to choose unless you have medical reason. except cooler and mattress everything else is provided. yes there is gym area, tt room and common area where there is canteen. there are common washrooms only. approx 30 students share a single washroom containing 4-5 spaces.
Hostel Facilities:
The girls and boys hostels are separate buildings. Girls are allowed to enter boys hostels but not vice versa. The total number of boys and girls hostel buildings are 5 each. Hostel allocation takes place on a random basis by the student council and the administration. Separate breakdown of the hostel fees isn’t available as we’re not allowed to choose single or double occupancy rooms, they’re just randomly allocated and there is no triple sharing rooms. The hostel timings/college timings are from 6 am to 10 pm. Students are not allowed to leave college post 10 pm. However, we can freely roam around in and out of our hostels any time of the day with no restrictions but going in and out of the campus area is restricted. Yes food is included in hostel fees but I’m unable to find the specific breakdown. Yes there is one separate cafeteria and a Nescafé area in campus and students prefer the cafeteria more these days. The food quality is better compared to some other bschools and we get a menu every 2 weeks from the Mess Committee of the college. Yes the hostels are guarded. There are 1-2 guards present in the hostel building at all times and there have thankfully been no security threats at all.I have a sharing room. We don’t get to choose if we want sharing or non sharing room. There are ACs in every room, water cooler is there on every other floor, geysers are there in washrooms on every floor, almirah, study table, bed, chair but mattresses and other items we carry on our own. We don’t have a recreation room. The washrooms are not attached to the rooms. We have common washrooms and they’re cleaned once everyday. About 20-25 people share these common washrooms on a single floor.

K block is the best as it is huge and takes up major chunk of boys in the 2nd year. 3. Hostel allocation is decided by the student council and the algorithm followed is not disclosed. The preferences are taken into consideration as per availability. 4. Hostel fees is not mentioned explicitly and it is included in the total fees. There is no difference in the fees for single or double occupancy rooms. 5. There are no hostel timings. Only that students can not leave the campus post 10 PM and could not enter the campus post 11 PM. Students are not allowed to party or play loud music post 11PM and the administration is very strict with this rule. 6. Food is included in the total fees. 7. We have common mess for all the hostels. Apart from that we have one 20 hr canteen which serves all of the campus. 8. Food quality is OK. Food menu is looked upon by the mess committee and they try to keep changing the menu frequently. 9. Yes the hostels are guarded. 2 guards per hostel. No major security threat. 1. There are single and double sharing rooms with common washrooms. I chose double sharing as I don't like being alone and having a roommate in different circumstances. 2. AC, Geyser, Wifi, Almirah, Study Table, Beds, Mattress are provided. Quality is good. 3. There is a single common room in K block for all hostels where TT table, carrom etc. is there along with some seating area. 4. Washrooms are common. Cleaned everyday. 5. Depends hostel to hostel. I general we have 20 students sharing the 1 common washroom which has 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms .

Student Council is responsible for Hostel allocation and it's a very smooth process. Students are not allowed to leave the campus post 10 PM and enter post 11 PM. Fooding is included in fees and food is at sub par level. Hostels are well guarded so no issue related to safety. Menu changes monthly.Double sharing room is there inhistels. AC, geysers, wifi, almirahs, study table, chairs and beds are provided by the college itself. Also other things like mattress and curtains are available at the time of shifting. The gym is really great in the hostel. Washrooms are common not attached (also not that clean to be honest). 16 students share two WC, and showers.

The hostels are guarded and there has been no major threat in recent times. Most of the rooms are double sharing, but some rooms are single sharing as well. Every room has an AC, 2 almirahs, 2 chairs, and 2 beds. Wifi and geyser is also available on every floor. Washrooms are common. We can get the rooms cleaned whenever we want. there is a single washroom on every floor of a hostel block.

We have separate hostels for boys and girls. 5 hostels each for boys and girls. Girls can enter boy hostels but boys cannot enter girl hostel. For the first year boys are allocated hostel rooms and roommate randomly whereas for second year they can at least choose who to apply with. There are no hostel timings as such, just campus in and out timings wherein you cant exit campus beyond 10 and have to be back in campus premises before 11. Our overall fees include mess fees as well and there is no separate charge and yes we have separate canteen called Arcus. Food quality is not particularly great but it is still better than most engineering colleges. Yes the hostels have guards with a minimum of 1 guard at the reception of each hostel all times, both male and female. There has not been a major security threat in recent times.we have both single and double occupancy rooms and we are randomly allotted the same unless we specify basis some medical condition. All facilities are provided like ac, cooler, geyser, wifi etc and the quality is pretty good, a solid 7/10 overall. We have a common indoor games room which unfortunately for some of the hostels is used as a storage unit. We have common washrooms in all hostel blocks which are cleaned quite frequently and for hostel rooms we have to put our room number in the register any time before 5pm and the cleaner will then come to clean the room basis the availability. As far as I know all students stay in hostel premises bar those who are from Ghaziabad, Indrapuram, Delhi NCR Area who travel back home at times.

Boys and girls are separate, I think there are around 5 hostels for girls and 3 hostels for boys on main campus and 4 hostels in the CDL campus, boys can't enter girls hostel but girls can enter boys hostel. Hostels are allocated by the student's council on the basis of the needs of student like if someone has a health issue or something. Students can enter the hostel at anytime they just can't enter the campus after 11 but you can have late night campus strolls or coffee or chill in the cafeteria with your friends at any time of the night. Students can do whatever they want except alcohol and drugs in the hostel. We have a cafeteria common for everyone. Students eat at the mess regularly and the mess menue changes every 15 days. One guard per hostel There are single occupancy and double occupancy rooms and it's not in your control which you'll get I have a double occupancy the entire floor has a common washroom which has 3 washrooms and 3 bathrooms. We have AC wifi Almira and study table that we got from the institute. Washrooms are cleaned everyday whereas hostel rooms every 2 days

hostels are gender-segregated. Boys are not provided with entry into girls' accommodation; however, girls are permitted to enter into boys' hostel inside the campus. Students have to come back latest by 11 PM into the campus. The menu is changed every week, but quality is different. Security inside the campus is very strong as it has proper guards and no major threat is reported recently; in fact, students feel very comfortable while dwelling in this campus.There are a variety of sharing options available. Mostly it remains single and double occupancy, but most students prefer double because it provides privacy and company at the same time. There are AC, geysers, Wi-Fi, almirahs, study tables, and comfortable beds. The hostel is well taken care of to make sure the place is nice to live in. Washrooms are cleaned daily. The hostel rooms are cleaned regularly, too.

There are about 7 blocks for boys and 5 for girls. K block is the best as it was newly built and it’s very big. But all hostels are decent. Hostel allocation is randomly done by the student council. For the 2nd year students can pick a roommate. Students can enter and leave whenever they want. Full freedom. There are exit timing restrictions on the campus though. Students have to be on campus by 11 pm or after 5 Am. But students can request for late entry if they have good reasons. There is security and every hostel has guards near the entry itself. Mostly shared rooms. WiFi, cupboards, table, chair, WiFi, bed are all given. Mattress we have to get. We have a game room. With TT tables. There are only shared washrooms. No personal washrooms. There are about 3 bathrooms and 3 toilets on each floor of girl hostel. Where about 20 girls stay.

K block is the best, since it is nearer to all common recreational rooms and hangout places. No, the hostel allocation is not first come first serve basis, everyone gets same hostel. There is no separate hostel fees, it is included in tuition fees. Students here have lot of freedom, with minimal supervision. The students cannot leave the hostel after 10pm and cannot enter hostel between 11pm to 5am. Mess food is included under tuition fee, just like hostel fees. Yes, each hostel has cafeteria and canteen. The food quality here is good, the variety is high, and the menu changes every 15 days. Yes, the entire campus is guarded. There is no security threat, the entire campus is highly secure.IMT has double bed rooms with few single bed rooms for special cases. I got double bed room since i did not have any case that required me to have a single sharing room. All rooms are equipped with ACs, the entire campus is Wifi-enabled, study table, chair, almirah, bed each for both the students in a room. Yes, we do have common room. We have Table Tennis, Cafe, and lots of places to hangout. IMT has common washrooms, with 16 students sharing 2 toilets, 2 bathrooms, 2 urinals and 2 washbasin. The hostel rooms are cleaned every single day.

Are all/any hostel rooms at IMT Ghaziabad air conditioned?
IMT Ghaziabad batch size is huge and one campus is not sufficient to house them. So in 2012 an additional distance campus CDL was made a few km away from the main campus. Both campuses have hostels but the main campus hostels have no air conditioning at all. These hostels are occupied by both girls and boys whereas the CDL hostel is exclusively for boys. This hostel provides both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms. To avail of an air-conditioned room, you have to pay an extra fee. These rooms are for the boys only.
How is IMT Ghaziabad's hostel life?
Based on my friends' experience, IMT Ghaziabad’s hostel life is pretty decent. IMT Ghaziabad has two hostels, one at the main campus, the other 3 km away from the main campus. The main campus hostel is mainly occupied by boys and girls of the second year while the other hostel mainly has boys of the first year. Such a mixed setup facilitates team projects and assignments and also makes you ready for the corporate world.
The major highlight of IMT Ghaziabad hostel life are the many fests and events held regularly. They help keep the hostel alive and dynamic.
The food served at IMT Ghaziabad's hostel mess is one of the best you can get. The breakfast is elaborate with everything like aloo parathas, mooli parathas, bread omelet, poha and even tea. The lunch and dinner menu is also no less and the evening snacks are excellent. A canteen and coffee vendor machine operates from 9-4.
IMT Ghaziabad boasts of a very massive and well built auditorium which is where most of the competitions of North B Schools are held. It’s the pride of the institution.

How good is the hostel food at IMT Ghaziabad?
I am not exaggerating by saying the IMT Ghaziabad hostel offers the best food you can get at a mess. My cousin was once a student there and had to pay INR 9000 for both food and lodging combined.
- The mess was initiated and is run by the mess committee which is a student body.
- Everything related to the menu is decided by the mess committee and is feedback based. So the food which most people dislike is taken down while the food which is everyone’s favorite remains on the menu.
- The seasonal dishes are offered regularly
- The taste is pretty good provided that you have lowered your expectations and are not comparing the messy food with homemade food
- Breakfast is the most elaborate and coveted meal of the day and seasonal fruit is offered every day.
- Non-vegetarians can satisfy their taste buds and thrive for a week.
- The campus canteen is also available and functions 9-5 am.
- There is a coffee vending machine within the campus for coffee lovers
- You can walk to the Kavi Nagar market for more variety of food.
So if you are worried about food, you can rest assured for IMT Ghaziabad provides the best.
