Selection of candidates to the B.Tech program offered at Amity School of Engineering & Technology will be done through Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (GGSIPU CET). Minimum required qualification to apply for B.Tech is Higher Secondary examination with at least 60% aggregate marks with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.

For admissions to direct second year of B.Tech (lateral entry), candidates must possess either diploma in Engineering or B.Sc with at least 50% aggregate marks. Candidates are required to apply through separate forms available at the college website for lateral entry and management quota admissions.
- Out of total number of seats in B.Tech, 90% seats will be filled through centralized counseling conducted by the university on the basis of IPUCET.
- 10% seats will be reserved as management seats and admission to these will be done on the basis of merit as per the guidelines of GGSIPU.

For B.Tech admissions under the 90% seats reserved under GGSIPU, candidates can follow the process given below:
- Candidates can log on to the official website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and click on “Apply online” tab.
- Upon entering the personal details and educational qualification, candidate should upload the scanned copies of signature, photograph and thumb impression.
- Subsequently, a login ID and password will be generated along with the preview of details.
- Upon filling the course application details, candidate should submit the application and proceed to pay the application fee.
- Application fee of INR 1000 can be submitted through Credit/ Debit cards or Net Banking.
- Candidates should take the printout of the duly filled-in application form for future correspondence.
