VIIT B.Tech {Lateral} Civil Engineering: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Candidates seeking admission into B. Tech, B. Tech (Lateral) and M. Tech, Ph.D. courses must have applied for the concerned national or state level exams.

The college follows the below steps for CAP counseling for B.Tech and M.Tech admission:

• Visit the official website of DTE, Maharashtra (http://www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/)
• Register as a new user and then fill the online form.
• After that, candidates have to appear for verification of documents at the Facilitation Center.
• Preference of courses and institutions to be filled and confirmed in the online form before CAP Round 1 (decreasing order of preference)
• After the final CAP round, candidate can report to the institution and confirm admission.

5. Original SSC and HSC mark sheets
6. Nationality / Domicile Certificate or Birth Certificate
7. Migration Certificate (if applicable)

VIIT, Pune offers B.Tech under 5 specializations. Admission to the course will be based on the performance in JEE Mains. The student can appear for MHT-CET if he/she belongs to the Maharashtra state.

The eligibility to apply for this course is 10 + 2 pass with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology or Vocational subjects as optional. 

Specializations and Intake:

VIIT Pune B.Tech Eligibility Criteria:

• Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) qualified from a recognized board of education.
• Minimum 50% marks should be secured in the final examination.
• 45% of marks must be secured by the SC/ST category students.
• Candidates appearing for the final examination can apply for admission. 

VIIT Pune B.Tech Selection Criteria:

• Admission to the course will be either based on the marks secured in the JEE Mains or MHT-CET.
• Qualified candidates will have to appear for the counseling conducted by DTE.
