About PGDAV
The Pannalal Girdharlal Dayanand Anglo Vedic Evening College (PGDAV) is one of the oldest and affiliated colleges of Delhi University.The College has a well developed and experienced faculty for teaching regular and honours undergraduate courses in different specializations such as Political Science, Hindi, Sanskrit, Mathematics etc. The Meritorious students are offered multiple scholarships and fees concessions after the enrolment in the courses offered by the college.
The college has an urban campus that includes facilities of library, playground, health-care, bank and canteen.The college organises a cultural festival every year in which various competitions related to dance, debate, singing, street plays are placed and ends its annual session celebrating annual day in which meritorious students are honoured with the prizes for their excellence in studies and sports. Besides this, the college also offers extra curricular activities like National Cadets Corps (NCC) and National Service Scheme (NSS) training for making students develop their overall personality.

PGDAV College (Evening) Admission Process
PGDAV College (Evening) admission process is completely online. Candidates seeking admission are required to apply online on the official website. Admission to UG courses is done on the basis of CUET scores followed by e-counseling. Candidates need to pass their 10th and 12th class with 40 percent marks in total to be eligible for UG courses provided.
The marks obtained by the candidate in CUET will be considered for computing the total marks according to the Program-Specific combinations of subjects for deciding merit and granting admissions in the undergraduate programs.
PGDAV College (Evening) Application Process
Candidates applying for UG courses in PGDAV can follow the following steps in order to register for the CUET:
- Candidates must visit the official CUET website - cuet.samarth.ac.in.
- Upon opening the website candidates will find the ‘Register’ tab, they must click on it.
- After reading and understanding the information provided, candidates must hit the ‘Proceed’ button.
- After this, candidates will be directed to the application form. Candidates must fill in the required details carefully.
- After filling the necessary details candidates will have to upload important documents such as signature, photograph, marksheet, etc. Candidates must upload all the required documents.
- Candidates need to pay the application fee at the time of submitting the form or else the Online Application Form will not be considered.
- After submitting the fee, candidates print out the form and save a hard copy for future references.
- Candidates can login to their portals for any new updates, college cutoffs and so forth.

- I didnt even sit in the Delhi University placement cell as there were only college students.
- In my time, there is no fee hike. The scholarship is given to a limited number of students who have the required documents upon the interview.
- The college does not organize activities, and there is no active society in the evening college, except NCC. No society is active or worth joining in PGAV Evening College.
- Non-Delhiite or out-of-town students suffer from staying in PGs and taking flats on rent, as it is very expensive for them and not even safe.
- Its infrastructure used to be pathetic, but I would like to say that renovation work is in progress, and it will be transformed into a premium college in Delhi.
The admission process was quite good and easy beacuse at our time we don't have to give the entrance exam for taking admission in DU. So we got admission on our percentage basis and it was easy and smooth process the Delhi University team and support staff will help you in all your queries.

It was merit-based admission, the cutoff list was released for admission into DU colleges and according to that, all the admissions into the colleges for different courses took place.
Now, CUET is there for admission.

I was admitted through cuet exam. I gave the exam and filled the preference list and accordingly was allotted the college. It was easy to access though very tough to keep up with as it was a very lengthy process.

First of all, you need the CUET entrance exam for admission and eligibility is you need commerce in the 10+2 exam you can find the application date and fees on du website no need to do any improvement in it ...I didn't get any benefits because I'm from general background and I don't have any sports certificate and I did not join any NCC camps so I didn't get any benefits

It was great experience for me. Every is good about it. So basically Eligibility for the course is minimum 70 to 80. Everything basic detail and instructions about Application Form, Application Fees and application dates all is provided on college website. Reservation for SC and ST is giving benefits to students. There must be online orientation about college admission process for New admission.

I did take the entrance process.
First of all, we had to register ourselves on nta ex website for enrollment in the common University entrance exam test and then we get filled out the form for the test after a month and also had our admit card for the test.
After which the test was conducted at the respective centres.
After which fever told to apply at CSAS Portal of Delhi University
After which the counselling merit list started and I had many with the first merit list
