Shaheed Bhagat Singh College admissions 2023 will be based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores conducted by National Test Agency (NTA) for all UG and PG programs. For UG programs, candidates need to appear for the CUET UG exam whereas applicants need to appear for the CUET PG examination for PG course admissions. Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) for PG admissions has been discarded starting from the academic year 2023.
After CUET results are out, qualifying candidates will then be required to apply at Delhi University’s CSAS portal-admission.uod.ac.in. Further, candidates need to fill in the program and college choices for seat allocation. Final Admissions to UG courses will solely be done through Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal whereas final selection for PG courses will be based on the merit list released by the institute for both merit and entrance-based admissions.
For PG admissions, 50% of the total seats will be provided directly to the students holding their bachelor’s degree from Delhi University based on merit in the qualifying examinations. The remaining half of the seats will be allocated on the basis of the CUET PG rank.
Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (SBSC) also provides 50% of the total seats reserved for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD category candidates after appearing for the CUET examination. Check Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (SBSC) Courses & Fees

I got admission on a percentage basis for the B.Com program. The application procedure is very effective and the verification of the profile is also quick despite having a high number of admissions, getting in the first cutoff, and many of my friends also got admitted to the same college. I am from obc category and availed reservation benefits too, furthermore, they can change the cutoff percentage required on the demand of the college
The admission process was cut off based process. 94% was the cut-off to opt for history Hons. Forms were available on the Delhi University website. Cut-offs vary as per your category. Admission was very simple and easy to access.
The admission process was quite easy as it was a cut-off-based admission. The required cut-off to opt for geography hons was 95.25. If you are from any stream other than arts your percentage will be deducted up to 2 to 4 % of class 12th board.
Shaheed Bhagat Singh has a renowned faculty ranging from bcom to arts. The admission process has become quite simple and transparent. Different courses have different eligibility criteria depending on the cutoff list. The admission process is a little bit slow and the site crashes at a time.
At that time there was a cut-off basis system. Every college has its own cut-off list which goes up and down. North campus college cutoffs are very high and there was also a relaxation of 1 percent for girls or reservation categories. I got admission easily on the basis of the cut-off as I got good marks in my 12th standard.
I was admitted based on class 12th percentage basis and I also faced the problem of a very high cutoff our college's, first cutoff for Bcom was 98 percent so I got Ram Lal Anand College on the first cut and I got Shaheed Bhagat Singh College on 5th cutoff and in first-year college fees was for Bcom 7500 now in 3rd year it became 12250 I succeed to get admission in 5th cutoff only because of EWS certificate I got relief of .75 percent. The process of admission and fee payment was on a digital tal mode after the opening of the college physical verification of all the documents was done. Now admission is taken based on CUET because of this competition and many students who have not scored more on their board exam can also take admission. I think it's CUET is good.
The entrance exam conducted in the year 2022 was CUET. Eligibility for B.A. Hons. Economics in Delhi University is 12th pass,12th with maths(compulsory), domain of subjects selected for examination should be 4 or more and must include English and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The application forms is available on cuet.samarth.ac.in. Application fees revolve around rs.100. If you are opting for OBC reservation benefits then some specific documents mentioned there must be provided. During the day kf examination, a tragedy took place with many students that their exam centre at the very end moment got changed to different examination centre, this flaw should me rectified.
As I took admission via direct counseling in 2017 but we had to register ourselves on the DU website first and wait for the release of the DU cutoff of different colleges I applied for Shahed Bhagat Singh College (Day) and then visited the college on the day of counseling where our seniors of college help us during the whole process of admission but it took almost full day counter to counter so seniors makes it easy but as we feel excited to go in college we enjoy that. Then on the first day of college, we were introduced by our teacher in charge and s/he told us about the whole schedule of classes and where and how to check all this. Also, different societies come and ask students to join like NSS, NCC, Drama, etc.
There was no entrance exam, I got admission through merit which is my score of class 12. The whole Admission process was online and was very easy and smooth and I don't believe it requires any improvements.
