About Vivekananda College

Vivekananda College is a Public Women’s College offering admission in fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Social Sciences located in a sprawling 10-acre lush green campus in New Delhi. Accredited with Grade “A” by NAAC, and affiliated with the University of Delhi, the college provides a dynamic and empowering educational environment for young women with excellent & holistic education at the undergraduate, postgraduate levels. 

Vivekananda College offers various UG, PG, and Research in the disciplines of Arts, Science, Commerce, and Social Sciences under its various departments. The admission to both UG and PG courses is carried out on the basis of the candidate’s performance in CUET. After qualifying in the entrance exam, candidates have to appear in the centralized DU CSAS process for seat allocation.

Vivekananda College Admission

Vivekananda College admission to the UG and PG courses is based on scores obtained in the CUET examination. The admission to the Certificate and Diploma courses is offered on the basis of merit of candidates in the last qualifying exam. The admission process includes appearing for the CUET examination and then appearing in the CSAS seat allotment. Registrations for admission at the college start after CUET result declarations. Candidates must select Delhi University while filling out the CUET application can register themselves on the DU CSAS portal and choose their college and course preferences. The entire selection process is done via the DU CSAS portal for UG and PG courses in multiple rounds. The details of Vivekananda College admission process is as follows:

Step 1: Appear for the Entrance Examination

Candidates who qualify in the entrance examination must register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Portal of Delhi University for the seat allotment. Once the registration is done, candidates will be asked to fill college and course preferences. 

Step 3: Seat Allocation

The seat allocation will be done in multiple rounds for all programs. Seats are allocated based on scores obtained in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) or other national-level tests, combination of college and program chosen, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats. 

Step 4: Blocking of Seats and Final Admission

Candidates can check the seat allotment result by logging into Delhi University’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) dashboard. Upon acceptance of seat, the college will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the admission fees.
