Ans. Lovely Professional University does not offer a B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering.  But you can opt for B.Tech Chemical Engineering at LPU. Petroleum Engineering is a subset of Chemical Engineering. Chemical Engineering deals with the use of Chemistry to create novel compounds, food, fuel, and medications. A Chemical Engineer can work in the Petroleum Industry as well.  Both Government and Private sectors have openings for Chemical Engineers.
