Odisha NEET counselling 2022 will be conducted in three rounds through online mode. Round 3 or mop-up round will only be conducted if seats are left vacant after the completion of round 2. Candidates who have qualified NEET 2022 Cut off and are native of Odisha can participate in State Quota MBBS/ BDS seats. Other state candidates can apply under NRI quota only.

Odisha NEET Counselling 2022: Eligibility
Candidates will have to meet the minimum eligibility criteria in order to succeed in the Odisha NEET counselling session in the year 2022. All the criteria to prove the eligibility are given below.
Citizenship and Domicile Status
The candidates must be citizens of India or NRIs, or OCIs. Further, the candidates must either be permanent natives of Odisha or Children of All India Civil Service officers serving in state of Odisha.
Age Group
- The age of the candidate should be 17 years as of December 31, 2022
- There is no limit of maximum age for any candidate who wants to apply for the counselling session
Academic Background
- The candidate must have passed Class 12 in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually.
- The candidate must have secured minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology at class 12 for General Candidate (GE), 40% for SC/ST candidates and 45% for benchmark disability candidates (PC-GE).
- The required mark for Physically Challenged candidate of SC/ST category is 40%.
NEET MBBS Entrance Test
- The candidates must have appeared for and qualified NEET 2022 examination to apply for the course of MBBS or BDS in Odisha State Colleges.
- The applicant who did not sit for NEET 2022 or did not pass the examination is not permitted to attend the counselling process.
Eligibility Criteria for NRI Candidates
- NRI candidates who have qualified the NEET UG 2022 are eligible for the admission process.
- NRI means the children or wards of a person of Indian origin residing outside India. Such candidates have to submit the following documents in support of NRI eligibility.
- Documents claiming that the sponsorer is an NRI (Passport, Visa of the sponsorer)
- Relation of NRI with the candidate
- Affidavit from the sponsorer that he/ she will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly notarized.

Registration and Application Submission Process
After the announcement and publishing of NEET 2022 Result, every candidate will have to register on the official website of OJEE. All the steps to complete the application process are mentioned below.
- Go to the official website and register with NEET Application number and password.
- Receive the generated log in credential and log in with this on the website
- Fill up all the required details to complete the application form
- Upload the required documents such as scanned passport size photograph with a scanned signature and thumb impression
- Pay the application fee through online mode
- Click on the “Submit” button
- Take a print out of the application form
