Many problems and challenges in business practice can only be formulated and quantified using mathematical approaches. This includes, for example, the description of economic processes using statistical methods, the formation of meaningful models for financial markets or operational processes, the efficient design of insurance products, or the creation and ongoing optimization of timetables of a transport company.

Tuition Fees
University of Wuppertal of Clausthal does not demand a typical tuition fee. Students have to pay 338 USD per semester as Semester contribution.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Applied Science, Business Mathematics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Safety Engineering or a related field. The regular length of the Bachelor study should be of at least 6 semesters and should correspond to at least 180 ECTS credits. A minimal mark of (or corresponding to) 3.0 after rounding down to the first decimal place in the German system is required.
