Tuition Fees
There are no tuition fees at the University of Duisburg-Essen. All students are, however, subject to a student body and social contribution fee per semester.
The social and student body contribution for the summer and winter semesters 2021 amounts to a total of $774.86.
The amount is made up as follows:
- Mobility contribution (ticket): $506.82, of which $367.88 for the VRR semester ticket and $138.94 for the NRW ticket
- Social contribution for the Studierendenwerk: $229.96
- Student body fee: $38.08.
The social and student body contribution is not to be paid before enrollment! Students will be informed about the payment modalities upon registration.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Bachelor grade at least 3.0
- At least 30 ECTS in economics subjects
- A total of 18 ECTS in Mathematics / Statistics / Econometrics
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet the following eligibility criteria:
- English skills (level B2 according to GER)
- If applicable, knowledge of German (DSH)
International students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
