How does the curriculum of Siddhant College of Engineering ensure the best practice of the industry?

“We ensure students are aligned with the current industrial trends”

We focus on individual development. We ensure as an institute, we are progressing by taking everyone together. As the institute is located at Talegaon-Chakan industrial belt, there are lots of opportunities for students to explore their talent. There are a plethora of Internship opportunities which can help students to learn and get settled in a realistic environment.

How does Siddhant College of Engineering promote co-curricular activities apart from academics?

“Our activities encourages students to develop interpersonal skills”

To develop leadership abilities and self-confidence, we organize cultural fest along with sports activities. One of our primary extracurricular activities is NSS. The aim of this programme is helping the needy and to carry out community service effectively. It aims to work for the welfare of the society through programmes such as tree plantation, blood donation campaigns, educating poor kids, and more. Students also organize medical camps, advocate for women's rights, global warming awareness campaigns among others. 

“We are providing scholarships for students from different backgrounds along with concessions. We also offer internships to the needy students regularly as a part of the curriculum. We also provide transport facilities and medical help if needed.” 

What do you see as Siddhant College of Engineering‘s greatest strengths?

“Our faculty and best in-class learning atmosphere forms the strength of our institution”

The biggest strength of my college is its faculty who can ensure quality teaching as I enjoy talking to enthusiastic learners. Well equipped labs and infrastructure add more power. We have a college library with thousands of volumes of much-needed books by almost every single author. We have implemented a mentoring facility to help every student. We have the provision of extra classes for slow learners to help them prosper.

What are some plans that you are currently designing for your college and students?

“We want to establish ourselves as the premier institute in the country”

  • We are focusing on the placement and industrial training to encourage them for higher studies. And we are focusing on developing social awareness of the students. 
  • Collaboration with reputed institutes like NITs and IITs for faculty and student development. Industry collaboration for catering current needs through final year projects.
  • We are Involving more faculties and students in research activities.
  • Our aim is to obtain research funds from funding agencies like AICTE, DST and other funding schemes.
  • To be counted amongst the top five colleges in the city and become the preferred choice of college among students aiming to take admission in the engineering field.
