Dr. Naveen Singh is a Dean of the Vision Institute of Technology, Aligarh. He did B.Sc, M.Tech, and PhD in CSE. He started his career as an Academic Professor at Hindu College, Sonipat in 2000. He associated with IIMT University, Meerut as an Associate Professor and Head Computer Science Department from 2017 to 2019. More than 6000 students have completed their graduation and post-graduation under his help and his guide for several projects.

What are the prime factors that connect you with the education sector?

“Quality education for our Nation”

Education fulfills the dream of a learner. It is the most prestigious job and I am fortunate to be associated with this profession. A person in the education sector has a crucial role in providing information and strategies. It improves the quality of education provided to students. These give me the energy to stay connected to this field of education. I have a responsibility to prepare the future leaders of our country in the Engineering and Computer Application fields. It helps the growth of our nation. All of these things give me the energy to connect with the industry. However, a teacher makes a difference in the lives of many students. I find satisfaction in my work when I see the students being hired and producing satisfactory work.

How do you implement plans for the marketing and administration of Vision Institute of Technology?

“Provide the best sources and quality education for students”

Our main focus is on higher education. We provide good quality education to our students. They occupy high positions in software industries and corporate. Our main objective is to provide the best resources for students in terms of education, academic, practical, and focus on the overall development. It makes them skilled professionals. We also give projects that are helpful for society.

How does the curriculum of your college ensure industrial practice?

“Industrial visits available for students every year”

We have a vital program called the Industry-Institute Interaction. It signs with industry and institute MoU. The Industry provides training to the students and guest lectures workshop from industry experts. Our students visit various industries such as National Centre Medium weather forecasting (Govt of India), Parag Dairy, CNC Industry every year. We have a Centre for Character and Leadership, Innovation and Research cell, Entrepreneurship and Start-up cell for students. Our facility is responsible for the Industry-Institute merger in the allied fields. An Advance Technology Lab has created projects as per innovation ideas. It is also useful for Industry and organization.

What is the top priority of VIT for the next 10 years?

“Plan to emerge technocrats and skills for pupils in the respective field”

Our institutions have a qualifying process for admission to technology. A student from science who chooses Maths is eligible to study technology as per new NEP 2021-22. In the next 10 -15 years this trend will grow exponentially. It is an important pillar of our technological sector. Emerging technocrats will play a crucial role in the development of the nation. We plan to equip students with skills in their respective fields. Hence, they can pursue a variety of opportunities after graduation. We also trained them to become Entrepreneurs and give jobs to other people.
