What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Learning each day along with passion and energy”

Education is something which enlightens me from within, and in my opinion nobody should be deprived of this basic need. Whatever key position I hold, I always make sure that I do justice to it and reach maximum people. My enthusiasm to learn more and then to impart more, makes me get more connected to this sector because education is something which teaches us something new every day. I always feel young with a high energy level when I deal with students. Our students are tomorrow’s future, they will build the nation, therefore their foundation should be strong. 

What can an inbound student gain from studying here in Goel Institute?

“Overall development with wider facilities and mindset”

We, here in Goel Institute of Technology and Management, believe in holistic development of our students, rather than focussing on bookish knowledge. What do you think your roles and responsibilities towards the Institute are?

“Managing proper administration and a healthy atmosphere”

I always believe that roles and responsibilities should be clearly defined and should be adhered to. I personally keep monitoring the activities of the institute, conduct meetings, ask about staff and student’s problems, and try to resolve them as soon as possible. These things create a healthy environment and strong bonds within the members of the Institute. 

What do you think should be the Institute’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“Quality and accessible education with more focus on R&D”

Over the next 10 years, I want that, with the cooperation of my staff and love of my students, Goel Institute of Technology and Management should be at the top, with the best infrastructure and in reach of every student so that no child is deprived of education. I aspire to bring in approaches for more affordable education to all. Also, we strive to work more in the field of Research & Development so that we can also contribute to nation building. 

What do you see as Goel Institute’s greatest strengths?

“Strong member inclusiveness and well-developed amenities”

The greatest strength of our institute is its workforce and its users. If these two things are managed properly, one can achieve any heights, because other things like infrastructure, labs and building can be developed easily with materialistic resources. What are some of the biggest challenges you see for higher education?

“Inculcating practical skills among students”

The biggest challenge which higher education is facing these days is that we are producing Engineers, MBA’s, Pharmacist’s at a mushroom growth with a degree, but not with skills. These students may have scored good marks in their exams, but this is not all. Real world is different from theoretical knowledge. We should train and nurture them according to their preferences so that they can master their inbuilt skills.

“Concentrate and consecrate to develop skills”
