The board of Nova High School decided to use interactive computer instruction in three academic subjects. The reason being in the last year college graduates have reported some impressive achievements because of computer program. The school board puts forward a proposal that all school should consider computer program as part of student cirriculam annually . This will add to the rise in success ratio and decrease the number students who try to leave the school. The newspaper editorial suggests that the board of Nova High School should invest a large number of funds to buy more computers to increase the knowledge of interactive computer learning. The author also encourages the other schools to adopt interactive computer instruction throughout the curriculum. Further, the argument states that after school started to use interactive computer instruction in three academic subjects some graduates reported splendid results in college.

The author’s proportion depends on the two observations.

(a) Immediate declined rate of school dropout after using interactive computer instruction in three academic subjects.

(b) Outstanding achievements in college by the graduates of Nova High School.

The argument does not mention the other key factors that need to be considered during the evaluation. The author’s perception, while aiming to build up causation between the decrease in the dropout rate and the interactive computer education, overlooks essential factors.

First of all, the argument states that after the use of interactive computer instruction the dropout rate immediately decreased. The author does not mention any specific data about the actual reason behind the declined dropout rate. There is no clear information if it was the outcome of using interactive computer education or some other unknown change. It is quite possible that the school must have made some other changes in the infrastructure, fee structure, and curriculum that led to the decline rate of school dropouts. These details are not provided by the author. hence, assumption will not be justified to come to a reason. For example, It might be possible that the principal of the school was changed last year and the new principal made some impactful changes and was successful in that. And because of this, the dropout rate decreased.

Second of all, it claims that because of the execution of interactive computer instruction in three academic subjects the graduates of last year performed exceptionally well in college. Again it does not provide enough evidence to support the claim. It is not specified that the reason behind the impressive performance of college students is interactive computer instruction. It is very likely to believe that the graduates might have made some changes in their study pattern or might have worked hard to perform well in college. Perhaps the classroom training strategies utilized by the college’s faculty. Or plenty of amazing learning assets which are accessible to students could be answerable for students' noteworthy presentations. Or the solid establishments and abilities of the graduates might be belittled by the author.

For example, the students might have included exercising, yoga, meditation, or sports in their daily routine. This would have helped them in maintaining a calm mind. As a consequence, they were able to achieve great results in college. In order to achieve the causal connection between these events, it would be imperative to understand the other students’ performance who did not receive any interactive computer education in their schools. It is questionable that the relation provided by the author is sufficient to prove this claim.

Lastly, the argument suggests that a large part of school funds should be invested to buy more computers. By stating that the author overlooks the possibilities of exhausting funds. If a large portion is invested in buying more computers then there would be very less amount of money left for other critical expenses. For example, the electricity, infrastructure, and staff salaries. This does not make any sense unless the author had outlined the benefit of such action. Or provided the correlation between interactive computer interaction in three subjects and interactive computer education for the entire curriculum.

Overall, the author’s suggestions are distorted. To make the argument strong, the author must provide the evidence which shows that interactive computer interaction in three subjects is the lone factor answerable for the decrease in school's drop-out rates and impressive achievements of their graduated class in college. And the implementation of interactive computer instruction for the whole educational program by each school in the area will be offering various benefits to students. All that has been presented so far in the argument is just a coincidental relationship between the events.
