The new employees employed by the company are not working to their potential and thus, they do not contribute to the company's revenue compared to their wages. In contrast, the employees that were hired a decade ago could successfully contribute to the company's profit. The prime cause for the fall of the company's profit margin is due to poor human resources from the authors' point of view.

The author is concerned with the employees to contribute the company’s revenue to their salaries as the most important reason for dropped profitability. The profitability of the company is determined by many factors viz, market mechanism, the work culture of the organization, and more. Competition from other companies, Business rivalry also affect the profitability of the company. So, it can be assumed that the low revenue of the firm for the past two years can be achieved due to several factors. The employees must feel safe and secure in their working environment so that they can work to their full potential. The company must back their employees, motivate them and stay beside them mainly in their tough times.

It is irrelevant to compare the present situation of the firm to those of the past years. In this ever-changing and dynamic world, nothing is fixed and static, and so is the same for the business environment and market dynamics. After the worldwide pandemic, the whole structure of the work style of all reputed organizations and the market environment has completely changed. Competition between different companies in business has certainly increased in leaps in bounds in current years. Currently, the firm might not enjoy the business advantages that it used to do in the past decades. The company must focus on recruiting specialists for individual roles in different fields so that they can work to their full potential. The company may also be required to give more support to the human resource department so that they can recruit efficient and effective employees.

The claim of the author that newly recruited employees are not contributing enough to the profit of the company is a dubious claim. It also demotivates the whole employees' morale. The ignorance of human resources will affect the whole employee community. So, it can be mentioned that avoiding new recruits and stopping to hire skillful employees is vague regarding the low revenue generation of the company. The company may face serious consequences of a work strike, labor protest, lockouts, and mass protests. This will not only shatter the image of the company in the global market but also will contribute to even further low profitability of the company.

On the contrary, the argument is baseless and criticizes the vast employee sections. The author would have to provide more relevant evidence to prove that the new recruits are inefficient and are responsible for the falling profit margin. Before making such a serious claim the company must look at other factors that contribute to its revenue of the company. The author has to put forward some facts and figures about the company's revenue, in the past and the present. It is not also justifiable to compare the revenue of the past and the future as market conditions are dynamic and ever-changing. Finally, it would be important to know the total sample size of the employees taken for the survey. The total number of new employees that are not contributing to the high revenue generation of the firm is taken into count.

In conclusion, the argument is flawed as it is only based on the poor human resource and ineffectiveness of the newly recruited employees and hence unconvincing. It could be further assessed by working on the suggested strategies. Without taking into consideration the other factors that influence the revenue generation of the company, the argument is unsubstantiated and open to debate.
