Answer:

From the statement (1), we have:

a : b : c = 3x : 4x : 7x

This means a = 3x, b = 4x, and c = 7x

Now, from statement (2), we have:

c – a = 12

put the values of c and a from statement (1), we will get:

7x – 3x = 12

4x = 12

x = 3

So, the values of a, b, and c are:

a = 3x = 9

b = 4x = 12

c = 7x = 21

Correct Answer: B
