How is IITM (Innovation) Janakpuri for a BBA student?
IITM Janakpuri is a good college affiliated with IP University. Due to its location in Delhi, you will be exposed to great opportunities. You will cherish the environment at the campus.
Following is a brief insight of the institute:
- The infrastructure at IITM Janakpuri is excellent. Advanced technology will make a fruitful experience.
- The faculty members are excellent, and they will assist you in developing a better profession.
- The college's placement is also excellent, with top-tier companies visiting the campus each year. This is when the location comes into play.
- Overall, the college is decent but don't set your expectations too high because, with them, you'll be disappointed.
Reach out to a recent IITM student in the relevant program. He or she will guide you effectively because they are more knowledgeable about it than non-IITM students, and you can also rank any educational institute to compare.
How is IMS Noida for a BBA?
A friend of mine from school is completing his BBA from IMS Noida and his experience so far has been pleasant. According to him, it is also a good institute for pursuing BBA.
Pros
- Great faculty: The faculty in charge of the BBA course deserves a lot of praise. The members have a lot of knowledge pertaining to their fields. They are supportive as well as friendly.
- Good management: The efficiency in management helps the student with a proper scalar chain.
- Value-added courses: These courses include classes and certification from British Council, which have integrated with external lecturers for providing additional courses in the first year with an additional fee like Phomegap, .Net, Python.
- Guest lecturers: Popular industry experts regularly visit the campus as guests to give lectures and share their experiences.
- Extra-curricular activities: The institute has a creative club for its students. It also holds competitions in short skills.
- No ragging: My friend has never experienced ragging neither directly nor indirectly. As a matter of fact, he has a great rapport with a number of seniors.
In addition to these, the location of the college is Sec 62, Noida. It is the corporate hub of Noida. The area has two other good institutes, Jaypee Institute of Technology and Engineering and MGM College of Engineering.
Cons:
- Infrastructure: The size of the campus is not up to the mark. The classes are not air-conditioned and there is no proper canteen.
- Less exposure to Sports: Sports enthusiasts will be disappointed as the campus does not have a proper ground for basketball, football, cricket, badminton, etc. It only has a court for volleyball. Students get opportunities to participate in sporting events but exposure is not much.
Apart from these cons, the institute does not directly involve itself much in the fests. The attendance would be marked but the college rarely sponsors the students.
Which book is best for preparation of the IIM Indore IPM?
To get admission to IIM Indore, you have to clear the CAT exam successfully and it is considered one of the toughest exams in India. But here are the names of some of the best books which will be very helpful for the preparation for the CAT exam.
Pearson's IPMAT Book :
- This is a very popular book for IPMAT. It is one of the oldest books for CAT preparation and it also includes analysis of past year patterns.

Arun Sharma :
- This book is very popular for CAT quant preparation.
- The first two levels of this book can also be used for IPMAT quant preparation.

- This book is very underrated as many students don't give much importance to this book.

- There will be many questions in the exam based on this book.

- Apart from these books, also go through some coaching materials such as TIME's career launcher, online coaching videos as these include valuable information.
- Practice previous year’s question papers as this will give you an idea of how tough the exam is going to be.

How many students are selected for IPM IIM Indore interview?
Almost over 15000 apply for the IPM program at IIM Indore. For each seat, you will be competing with 10 students at least. In 2018, 15901 students had applied and only 886 students were shortlisted for the interview round.
To get selected, you will have to give an aptitude test along with a WAT and then appear for a personal interview round. All these tests will evaluate you as a person and not just your knowledge and skills.
If you are applying for this course, you should have a plan B in case you don't get selected as no other IIMs offer this college. Very few students get selected for the IPM IIM Indore course as the selection criteria for this course is very difficult and you have to be very good at academics to get selected in this course.
Can Girls apply for BBA course in Loyola College
Loyola College is an all-boys college when it comes to Under-Graduate programs. However, it is co-ed for all post-graduate programs and some undergraduate programs like - B.M.M (Animation), B.Voc, B.A., BBA, B.Sc.
But yes, girls can apply for BBA courses at Loyola College although Catholics are given more preference in this college.
Is a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) a good course?
Definitely, BBA is considered to be an excellent course in management, providing sufficient exposure for junior-level employment. There are several advantages of having a BBA degree and some of them are listed below in points.
- BBA is a 3-year management program, which is available in almost all the universities worldwide which provide management courses.
- BBA graduates are highly employable junior-level management associates and are generally very much competent in such roles. They are seen to progress to higher positions in management easily with time and experience.

The total fees for IPM are nearly 20 lacs, but the returns will also be equivalent to the invested amount. You will be getting an IIM Degree and a chance to study with some of the best brains in the country.
There are many banks that will finance your education. Banks usually provide full education loans for students. Canara bank provides a full educational loan without any collateral. There are some scholarships as well such as the NBFA scholarship that are given to students of IPM.
But it is important to remember that the course will make them a better future if the candidate is ready to work hard and conquer all the challenges.
What is the average package for BBA in NMIMS?
The average package for BBA in NMIMS Mumbai is INR 5-6 LPA. While the maximum goes up to INR 9-10 LPA. Major companies such as Zycus, Tresvista, Genpact, etc. take part in NMIMS Mumbai placements. You will get many opportunities to work for big MNCs. NMIMS also offers resources and support to budding entrepreneurs.
Is there any bias against IPM students during placements in IIM Indore? Are they considered equal to PGP students?
Yes, there indeed is a certain level of bias that IPM students face during the placement process. But the reason is well justified. Being a newly established course, IPM lacks the certainty of success. The industries are only gradually developing their trust towards this course over the years. So the recruiters are still a bit hesitant in investing in an IPM student.
But if you look at the figures, you can see that the course has been gaining trust and climbing the ladder drastically over the past few years. Also, I don’t think it’s justifiable to draw a comparison between a 7-year-old program that has already been recognized (PGP) to a newly established course (IPM).
People usually compare these 2 programs because they see IPM as a means to join IIM by escaping CAT. This is not the case at all. IPM is much more than that. It needs no comparison to any other program. It is a full-fledged integrated course that is way ahead of other undergrad or integrated courses across the nation both in terms of the kind of education it offers and the placements.
Is IIM Ranchi's IPM program worth it?
Yes, the IPM program of IIM Rohtak is actually worth it because it’s an IIM after all. Both Rohtak and Indore excel at their IPM programs. If you are not willing to sit for the CAT again and are not confident that you will get in despite trying this is the best option for you. But if you want to explore more opportunities and are confident of getting a better CAT percentile next year this program may not be for you.
IPM or Integrated Program in Management is a 5-year program of business studies from undergraduate to postgraduate level (Integrated BBA-MBA). Students will be awarded a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the end of the program.
Curriculum: The foundation of this program is broad covering areas like humanities, social sciences, arts, and sciences. Other areas that are tackled by this program are management, marketing, accounting, finance, economics, information systems, data science, and strategic management. The pedagogy involves lectures, classroom discussions, experiential lessons, case analyses, simulations, group projects, internships, and mentorships that help in creating an active and student-favorable environment.
Fees: The total fee for the first three years of the program is INR 1,593,000. These fees do not include mess charges.
Eligibility: The eligibility criteria for the IPM program are as follows
- Candidates who have passed 10 + 2 with a minimum of 60% Marks.
- 55% Marks for SC / ST / PWD.
- Indian Nationals & PIO / OCI Card Holders are eligible to apply for the Program.

- IIM Ranchi Reviews Applications received for IPM Program.
- Candidates are Shortlisted based on their Valid SAT / IPMAT (Conducted by IIM Indore) scores.
- Shortlisted Candidates are called for Personal Interviews for Final Selection.
- IIM Ranchi Finalize Candidates based on their Overall Performance in Personal Interviews & their Overall Academic Scores
Overall I personally feel that the IPM program at IIM Rohtak is worth trying.
