What are the rules and regulations at Mepco Schlenk Engineering College?
One of my close friends studies at Mepco Schlenk Engineering College. According to him, like any other Engineering college, Mepco has its own rules which are strictly regulated. Few major rules are listed below:
- Students are strictly not allowed to carry mobile phones inside the college campus.
- From your second year, you are allowed to use laptops for which 15 GB internet is given each at hostel and academic block.
- Unless there is an utmost requirement, you are not allowed to interact with the opposite gender unnecessarily.
- There is a strict dress code on campus. You have to wear black shoes without any designs on a regular basis.
- Girls are only allowed to wear traditional Indian attire like saree or salwar. Boys are supposed to wear formals.
These rules are formulated to inculcate good values in students. As cell phones are strictly prohibited, many students find it difficult to survive at the institute. But if you look at the positive aspects, you will learn patience and endurance and you will be totally focused throughout your academic years at Mepco.
Is Sunstone Eduversity good for doing an MBA?
I think I can give you some idea regarding the MBA course offered by Sunstone Eduversity, as my brother goes there. Most people look for a decent placement after an MBA degree. And Sunstone Eduversity has a quite unique trend regarding the same.
- This university has a Pay After Placement model where you have to pay your course fees after getting placed into a top company with a decent package. This concept is very beneficial for the students and all the colleges and universities should start to adopt this concept.
- You will also get a chance to do 9 months paid internship during your 2-year course with a stipend of around 15,000-25,000.
Hence, Sunstone Eduversity is a very good institute to pursue an MBA where you can learn a lot of practical knowledge too and the Pay After Placement model is one of the biggest advantages of this university.

SGSIT Indore is one of the oldest colleges in MP and reputed for its courses, yet enrolling in IIIT Bhopal gives you the environment of the latest curriculum, good programming and the guidance of MANIT Bhopal. Also, as of now, IIIT is running through the campus of MANIT.

Concerning the placement scenario, the college has 12.5 lakhs per annum as its highest placement. It is important to keep in mind the fact that IIIT Bhopal has MANIT as a mentor institute which provides it with an additional edge over other colleges of Bhopal. Further, it all depends upon the efforts of a student.
When we compare it with other IIITs, we need to understand that the IIITs which were established earlier, including 4 old IIITs, are a far better choice, but if we talk about those which are new like Surat, Bhagalpur, Ranchi, Nagpur, etc., one can expect IIIT Bhopal to be comparable and better in many fields.
Even if we have to match it with some old ones, we can expect it to point out better results in future while keeping in mind it's a fast-growth, proper guidance, and therefore, the passion for college kids towards their field of interest. The scholars are working together to make various clubs, like robotics, programming, metaphysics etc.
What are the realistic chances of converting IIM Ranchi, Trichy, Raipur, Udaipur, Kashipur calls for an NC-OBC engineer male at an 80.2 percentile?
Yes, you do have a chance to convert calls from IIM Kashipur. However, I will suggest that you aim for at least 95 percentile.

One of my friends studied in the PSG Mechanical branch. In his opinion, both the colleges are well known and quite famous for Mechanical Engineering. Let me state some facts about them which might help you decide.
- NIT Trichy holds a certain advantage over PSG.
- It is considered one of the top 5 NITs. It has earned recognition not only in India but also globally.
- In NIT Trichy you will get much more opportunities and the proper exposure.
- PSG is not bad but while comparing it with NIT Trichy, it gets more leverage.
- In PSJ the faculty members are really good in their respective fields.
- In PSG students mostly like to learn their subjects by themselves and are independent of the teachers.
- NIT Trichy has all the things required for such a core branch, like Good faculty members, excellent academics, internships, connection with industries, placement statistics, etc.
- All this makes NIT Trichy a better option for Mechanical Engineering.
