- According to my IEM friends, the teacher-student interaction is not as open and there is an unspoken barrier between them. HIT, on the other hand, has helpful teachers in these areas. If you have any questions, you can contact them at any moment, including over the phone. Teachers in HIT also assist you in developing your research interests. They will motivate you to study even for topics that are not included in the curriculum but are relevant to it.
- IEM is unquestionably better than HIT when it comes to campus placements as per the records of the past few years. Many students get the opportunity to appear for the recruitment process of core companies. According to the recent placement highlights the highest CTC offered at HIT and IEM were 16 LPA and 72 LPA respectively.

How is the girls hostel at MNNIT Allahabad?
MNNIT Allhabad has two girls hostels. Students of B.Tech lives in Kamla Nehru Girla Hostel. The hostel is located in the colony area outside the Saraswati gate.
MNNIT hostels for girls are two-seater. Although the rooms aren’t very spacious, after a while you will get used to them. The washrooms are hygienic and cleaned regularly.
The mess food isn’t too bad. They offer 4 meals - breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner.
There is no wifi, but each room has LAN connection. Usually, there is one LAN port, so you will have to share it with your roommate.
The hostels are safe. There are security guards present at all times. The in-time for first-year girls is 8:30 pm while for second year onwards, the in-time is 9:30 pm. Extensions are given during fests.
Other than the inconvenience of a few lizards and insects, the hostel facilities are pretty good.
How hard is it to get into NIT Trichy and get CSE? How hard did you study?
NIT Trichy is a really good college when it comes to most NITs. But, you will only get admission through JEE Main. You will definitely have to score well if you plan to secure admission here.
- About 90% of the entire paper is quite easy to solve at home but you will have to develop skills to be able to solve the paper quickly and efficiently.
- See how well you can do with MCQs along with your boards’ preparation.
- Develop your accuracy, for example, if you solve 30 questions, ensure that 18 of them are correct at least even if you end up attempting only 22 of them.
- As far as CSE or any good core branch is concerned, NITs are relatively easier to get into as compared to IITs.

You will have to do your best and strive a little hard in order to secure your seat. Getting into core branches is quite tough especially for branches like ECE and mechanical.
