The table below presents the minimum performance required for candidates to be considered for the PI & WAT selection process at IIM Raipur. However, it is important to note that meeting the cut-off percentile in CAT is a necessary but not sufficient condition for being shortlisted.
It should also be noted that the actual cut-off percentiles for the 2023-25 batch at IIM Raipur may be higher. The number of candidates to be called for the PI & WAT for each category will be determined by the institute, and as a result, the cut-off percentiles may also fluctuate.
Category | IIM Raipur cut off for Section-1 VARC | IIM Raipur cut off for Section-2 DILR | IIM Raipur cut off for Section-3 Quant | IIM Raipur cut-off - Overall CAT 2022 Percentile |
General | 70 | 70 | 70 | 92 |
EWS | 40 | 40 | 40 | 70 |
NC-OBC | 45 | 45 | 45 | 74 |
SC | 35 | 35 | 35 | 54 |
ST | 25 | 25 | 32.5 | 40 |
DAP | 25 | 25 | 32.5 | 40 |
The table above presents the minimum percentile required for candidates to be considered for the selection process at IIM Raipur. However, it is important to note that in addition to the CAT score, other factors such as academic performance in 10th, and 12th and graduation, diversity, work experience, and achievements are also taken into consideration when determining final selection.
It is important to aim for a higher percentile than the minimum stated above, as scoring 90 percentile (in the general category) may not guarantee selection, depending on the candidate's profile. The selection process at IIM Raipur is a multi-faceted and holistic one, taking into account not only the CAT score but also the performance in WAT-PI, academic percentages, diversity, work experience, and achievements to determine the final selection.
To get admission into Management Development Institute (MDI), the first step is to take the Common Admission Test (CAT) exam. You are eligible to write CAT if you have a recognized bachelor's degree (or professional degree like CA, CS, or ICWA) and have scored an aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ST and PWD students). Even students in their final year of a bachelor's degree can write the CAT exam.
The admission process at MDI consists of two stages. In the first stage, candidates are shortlisted for interviews based on their CAT score. In the second stage, a Personal Interview (PI) is conducted, and the final selection list is made based on the CAT percentile, Personal Interview, and Application score, which includes X, XII, Academic Diversity, Gender Diversity, and Work Experience.
The weightage for the CAT score in the final selection is 55%, which means a good CAT score boosts the chances of getting selected for the MBA program at MDI. To help you prepare for CAT, MDI offers free resources that can help you understand their pedagogy better, such as three free CAT mocks, one test on each topic (VARC, DILR, Quant) every day, the formula PDFs for all Quant topics for CAT, around 25 solved previous papers of CAT, and a CAT Percentile Predictor.
If you are aspiring to get into MDI, it is important to score well in CAT and prepare well for the Personal Interview.
As long as you are a Maharashtra resident, getting admission to JBIMS is not that difficult. Out of 120 seats, 102 seats are allotted to Maharashtrian candidates and the additional caste card will further increase your chances. Other than Maharashtra you will have to target 99.99. To ensure a good CET score
If by the difficulty you mean the probability of getting into JBIMS then here it is. Out of 100k candidates, only 120 are selected. For some, this may be a discouraging factor but if you look on the bright side, being along the 120 will guarantee a bright future.
IIIT Delhi criteria for MTech interview has been changed recently. It has removed the CodeChef round for the shortlisting of students. Now, there are 2 ways to apply

Before I comment on your eligibility have a look at the AIIMS Bhopal cutoff of previous years. AIIMS Bhopal, NEET Cutoff 2022 for General Category is tabulated below.
Round |
NEET Cutoff 2022 |
NEET Cutoff 2021 |

576 |
572 |

The overall cutoff for NEET is 576 rank while your rank is 1100. I don't think it's possible for you to get admission to AIIMS Bhopal.
There is no special eligibility criteria for NRI quota seats in CUSAT. You need a valid CAT rank to get admission through NRI seats.
To apply for admission through the NRI quota seats, there are two options:
OR
(> Rs.1,00,000) which is refunded after the completion of the course.
The NRI quota seats cost more during admissions and also the semester fee is slightly higher for NRI quota seats.
Yes, there are many people who took a drop for CAT and got selected in IIMs. At this stage, your interview matters the most. So read well and prepare the best to answer ‘what were you doing in the meantime’.
Answer this question confidently because here they are not exposing your weakness but testing your confidence in yourself. Just say that I was preparing to be here for the interview. Further you can claim that all the other candidates who have taken CAT are still at a level same as yours in the interview round. So rather than experience it’s one eagerness and ambitions that counts.
All you need to do is impress the interviewer and you are good to go.
