Remarks :

For admission, Pcm and gave jee advanced exam. All the stuff is easily available on jee mains and advanced website. the details of reservation benefits are given in the information brochure of jee mains and advanced.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I just want to get into IITG and I got a btech civil in jossa counselling and came here for better opportunities. The student-faculty ratio is good. the Professors are amazing in their respective fields and the teaching skills are great. There is a timely exam including a quiz, mid sem and end-sem

Class Size : 117Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience :

The 8th semester students are mainly eligible for placement. A lot of companies have visited the campus and made offers. About 95 per cent of students got on-campus placement offers. Last year's highest package was about 2cr

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The academic fee for this year was 1 lakh and there were scholarships based on the reservation benefits. For example 67 per cent off for OBC guys and 100 per cent off for SC/ st candidates. Furthermore, if you score ranker you gain a full fee waiver

Campus Life :

The campus life at IITG is very chill and comfortable. There are a lot of stuff and activities going on as usual that allows us to interact with others. Recently we had our tech fest and we enjoyed it a lot. There are many clubs open for all where one can go as per our interest

Hostel Facilities :

There are about 12 hostels. Some of them are as old as time and some are made recently. The rooms alloted on a share basis. The mess food is fine. We have a canteen too that open about 3 am. We also have tv room

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is quite good. we cannot disclose the name of the company visiting the campus because the training and placement cell of NIT SILCHAR did not allow us to disclose the names of the companies. My plan after getting my degree is to go through the UPSC exam.

The College life at NIT SILCHAR

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I was interested in this course. Here the faculty-to-student ratio would be around 1:25 which is very good we can clarify our doubts by asking the faculty, the Qualification of the teaching method will mostly be the same, they are PhD, but their teaching experience plays a major role and their teaching method varies from faculty to faculty but it would be nice. Term exams would be around 5 months Difficulty in passing the exams depends on the faculty.

From the 6th sem onwards students are eligible for campus. As per the guidelines of the training and placement cell, the name of the company visited can't be disclosed. There are too many companies visiting the campus for recruitment. Almost all the students who are eligible for placements get placed with a good package.

Placement Experience:

The placement season in the college is a very important one. Even before that, students get to do internships from 2nd year of BTech, providing them exposure to all kinds of companies and job sectors. All kinds of companies like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Uber make their way out here in search of bright minds capable of developing the companies further. They even provide the students with Pre Placement Offers, if their internship performance is commendable. The highest package goes upto above 2 crore INR per year, with average packages of above 25 lakhs INR per year. Above 85% of the students get placed in the end, with the others interested in higher studies. Nobody is left idle. My plans after BTech are to pursue a well paying job with a good working atmosphere.
