Students have interned with top firms like Google, Microsoft, Apple, and Netflix. Participants in the Google Summer of Code can earn stipends over Rs. 2 lakh annually. The course fee is Rs. 6.98 lakhs, which can be a financial burden for some families. Scholarships are available to help, including the Merit Cum Means Scholarship, Top Class Education Scheme for SC students, Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for College and University Students, and Scholarships for Top Class Education for students with disabilities.
The total cost for general category students over four years is approximately Rs. 12 lakhs. Scholarships depend on family income and student category, with full fees applicable for families earning above Rs. 5 lakh annually. A 66% tuition fee reduction is available for those earning between Rs. 1 lakh and Rs. 5 lakh, and full exemption for families earning less than Rs. 1 lakh.
