I have chosen the electrical branch because I have an interest in the core of the electrical branch. we have a class of 125 students and we get one faculty for each subject. For the lab, the whole class is divided into three groups. teacher are well qualified they all have completed ph.d in their respective subjects. but their teaching method is not up to the mark, they need to get more improvement. the exam is conducted timely. in one sem there are two exams nid sem and end sem.
The course curriculum is quite good for mathematics and computing. Most of the subjects are relevant to the tech field. It mainly consists of mathematics which is required in the data science field as well as computer science subject. The faculty is also well-qualified and trained.
This course is a combination of Mathematics and Computer Science. Through this course you can become a Data Scientist, AI, and ML Programmer, and the scope of this branch is increasing day by day. There are about 60 faculty members in the department. The qualification for faculties is a Ph.D. Two times in a semester, exams are held.
I chose electrical engineering at Nit Hamirpur because I want to take an ESE / IES exam. For this exam, electrical is the best branch for preparation. In our college approximately a 1.18 faculty-student ratio. Most of the faculty are Ph.D. holders and with good experience But as we know electrical is an old department so sometimes teaching methods are not the best.
I chose civil engineering because in Himachal Pradesh there is a good scope for getting a government job as a civil engineer. The faculty-student ratio is 1 teacher per 40 students. Faculty have good qualifications but teaching is not very good. I had a hard time understanding concepts from teachers and studied on YouTube most of the time. Mid-term exams are conducted after 2.5 months and end term a month after mid-term. It is not very hard to pass the exams. Most of the students pass exams just by studying 1 week before exams.
In course curriculum mainly 8 subject are tought out of which 5 are subjactive and 3 are labs. In a class there is aprox 125 student in electrical department. The qualification of faculty is B tech from iit or nit and phd form iit or nit. Exam are conducted 2 times in a semester.
The course curriculum is not very hectic and the faculties are approachable. I chose civil engineering because I deserved it. The faculties are well qualified and most of them have PhD from IITs. The campus is environment-friendly.
Only a good course at my rank. The course curriculum is rigid. Professors are not very considerate of the student's development and need to adopt modern teaching methods. The faculty-student ratio is 1:125. Term exams are timely but the gap between consecutive exams is very less, For midsem there is not a single-day gap between exams.
The exams are not that difficult, easy to pass you don't need to put much effort to just pass the exams but if you want good grades then you have to put in some extra effort, the faculty is just like other colleges you can't depend on them much that's all.
