Scholarships are being offered to the meritorious and needy students of NIT Hamirpur. The list of the scholarships offered by the institute to the students enrolled across different undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degree programs is mentioned below along with their details and eligibility:

Students belonging from Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist & Parsi categories and having a minimum of 50% marks in the last qualifying examination and whose annual family income is less than INR 2,00,000 are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Post Matric Scholarship to SC/ST/OBC students.	Students receive Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees along with a monthly maintenance allowance of INR 1,200 to SC/ST Hostellers and INR 550 to SC/ST Day Scholars. While for the OBC students the monthly allowance rate is INR 350 for Day Scholars and INR 750 for Hostellers.	SC/ST Students whose annual family income is INR 2,50,000 or less and OBC Students whose annual family income are INR 1,00,000 or less are eligible to apply for Post Matric Scholarship.
Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme for J&K students	Tuition fee up to INR 1.25 lakhs is paid by the institute along with INR 1 lakh for hostel fee and incidentals.	Students belonging to the J&K and appearing in the 10+2 state board examination of J&K are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students	INR 10,000-12,000 per annum	Any students enrolled in the B.Tech/B.Arch program of NIT Hamirpur having more than 80% marks in 10+2 examination from CBSE are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Prime Minister’s Merit Scholarship	INR 1,250 for boys per month and INR 1,500 for girls per month	Wards & widows of Ex-CPFs personnel died in harness/disabled while on duty with 60% marks in 10+2 Exam. Also, for the renewal of Scholarship in subsequent years, a candidate should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in each year.
Centrally sponsored Scholarship Scheme of Post Matric	Maintenance allowance for Day Scholars & Hostelers for (SC/ST) INR 550 p.m., INR 1200 p.m., for (OBC) INR 350 p.m., INR 750 p.m. + reimbursement of non-refundable fees.	Students belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories are eligible to apply for the Centrally Sponsored Scholarship Scheme of Post Matric.
Indira Gandhi Utkrisht Chhatravritti Yojana	INR 10,000 per annum	Only the top ten students of H.P. Boards are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
NHFDC-Scholarship (scheme for students with disabilities )	Reimbursement of course fee & hostel charges + other charges as per the type of disability	Indian students with at least 40% disabilities certified as per definition under the Persons with Disabilities Act 1995 whose annual family income doesn't exceed INR 3 lakhs are eligible for this scholarship.
