Master of Technology [M.Tech] (Renewable Energy) From MNIT, Jaipur

Aspirants seeking admission to 2 year Full-time M.Tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

Candidate must have passed B.E./B.Tech. in Architectural Engg., Architecture, Automobile, Biochemical, Biotech., Biotechnology, Chemical, Civil, Civil Environmental, Control & Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Electrical & Instrumentation, Electrical, Electrical Engg. (Power), Electrical Power, Electro-chemical, Energy, Engineering Physics, Environmental, Industrial Manufacturing, Industrial & Production, Industrial, Industrial Engg. & Management, Industrial Metallurgy, Manufacturing Engg./Tech., Material Science &Engg./Tech., Mechanical Engg., Metallurgical & Materials, Metallurgical & Materials Tech., Metallurgical, Metallurgical Engg. & Material Science, Metallurgy, Power Electronics, Production & Industrial, Production, Production Engg. & Management, Renewable Energy, Chemical & Polymer, Civil Engg. & Planning, Electrical Engg. & Industrial Control, Electrical & Instrumentation, Electrical & Power, Electrical Science &Engg., Environmental Science &Engg./Tech., Material Science & Metallurgical, Mechanical & Automation, Mechanical Engg. Automobile, Power Control & Drives, Power, Solar & Alternate Energy, M. Sc in Applied Physics, Physics, Engineering Physics, Engineering Physics & Instrumentation, any other relevant specialization in B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC or at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) and 55% marks in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates or 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) from a recognized university/Institute. Final-year appearing students may also apply on a provisional basis.

Entrance Exam:

Candidates must qualify for one of the following entrance tests - GATE

Fee structure for M.Tech DASA & ICCR students:-

• DASA & ICCR (Odd Semesters) – Rs 35865.00 + US $ 8000/ US $ 4000
• DASA & ICCR (Even semesters) – Rs 16800.00

Fee structure for M.Tech students admitted under Study in India program:-

• Odd semester – Rs 35865.00 + US$ 8000
• Even semester – Rs 16800.00

Note:

Any revision in fee by the competent authority will be applicable.

Students are required to deposit the balance of the fee through online mode (preferably net banking) vide the MNIT ERP portal at the time of admission. However, in special circumstances fee may be deposited through debit card, draft, etc. in the name of the Registrar MNIT Jaipur payable at Jaipur.
