AKTU MBA: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

AKTU MBA admission 2023 is ongoing through  Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) based on CUET PG. UPTAC 2023 Special Round 01 Seat Allotment Results for MBA based on CUET PG were released on October 09, 2023. Candidates can check the seat allotment results through the official website @uptac.admissions.nic.in. AKTU MBA program is offered in many specialisations, namely Human Resource Management, Tourism management, financial management, Marketing management, International business and Rural development and management. The minimum requirement to apply for the MBA course at AKTU is a Bachelor degree specialising in the relevant subject or Bachelor degree in any stream with the relevant subjects as core courses with 50% aggregate.

AKTU MBA Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university/ institute.
• The Bachelor degree should be completed in the relevant specialisation the candidate is applying for.
• The candidate should score at least 50% in the qualifying examination.
• 5% relaxation is awarded to candidates belonging to reserved categories.
• Candidates need to have a valid CUET PG score.
• In special conditions, CMAT or CAT scores may be considered by the authorities.

AKTU MBA Admission Guidelines

Candidates seeking admission to the AKTU MBA program must appear for the CUET PG exam, conducted by NTA. The university does not conduct any separate entrance examination for the same. For the final selection, AKTU will conduct the counselling session for seat allocation. Seats will be allocated on the basis of CUET PG scores, availability of seats, category, etc.

• Register yourself and then login using your credentials.
• Fill in the application form, upload the documents

AKTU MBA Course Details

The MBA programs at AKTU are offered across two categories-MBA and MBA integrated. The 2 year MBA course is offered across six specialisations. The courses are as mentioned below.

• The MBA and MBA (integrated) courses have been divided into four and ten semesters respectively.
• Each semester consists of 90 teaching days and comprises Lectures, Tutorials, Practical, Seminars and Projects, industrial training and educational tours.
• The curriculum allows students to choose amongst elective and specialization courses.
• MBA students can select specialisation courses in semesters III and IV while MBA (integrated) students can choose specialization courses in semesters VII to X.
• 75% attendance in each semester is compulsory for a student to be eligible for appearing in end semester examinations.
• Students are evaluated on the basis of a continuous process of evaluation consisting of unit and semester tests, practical examinations and tutorials.
• A student will be promoted to the next semester only if he/ she scores 40% aggregate in the theory and practical examination/ viva voice separately.
• MBA students are required to undergo an industrial training of six- eight weeks at the end of the second semester and compose a project report. Students are also required to submit a research project report on the topic allotted by the faculty in their fourth semester.
• MBA (integrated) students are required to undergo an industrial training of six- eight weeks at the end of the eighth semester and compose a project report. Students are also required to submit a research project report on the topic allotted by the faculty in their tenth semester.

AKTU MBA Placements 

The university has a fully functional University Industry Interface cell which is responsible for internship and placement opportunities for the students.
