Master in Medical Science & Technology [MMST] From IIT Kharagpur, Kharagpur

The eligibility criterion for admission to MMST students is MBBS Degree recognised by Medical Council of India (MCI) with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate and having passed mathematics at 10+2 level (even as additional subject) or from any recognized Open University. Seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC(Non creamy layer) candidates and persons with disability (PwD) as per Govt. of India rules.

IIT Kharagpur MMST admission 2024 is currently ongoing. The last date for online application for this program is January 31, 2024. The tentative dates for issuing the admit cards and the entrance test is scheduled on February 17 and March 17 respectively. IIT Kharagpur MMST program is a 3 year PG program offered by the School of Medical Science and Technology (MMST), IIT Kharagpur. The program is offered to MBBS graduates. The selection is strictly based on the performance of the candidates in the computer-based test of 2 hours duration.

IIT Kharagpur MMST Selection Criteria

The selection is strictly based on the performance of the candidates in the computer based test of 2 hours duration. The candidate needs to answer 120 questions, out of which 75 questions are from the MBBS syllabi. The remaining questions are equally distributed to cover the syllabi of 10+2 level Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each correct answer carries one mark and each wrong answer carries negative 0.25 marks.

• Once registered, login with the enrollment number and password generated.
• Fill the required details and upload the documents required. 
• Pay the application fee.

Following documents are required to fill the online application form:

• EWS/ OBC (Non-creamy)/ SC/ ST/ PWD certificate (if applicable).
• MBBS Degree (recognized by MCI) with mark sheet of all years as a proof of obtaining a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
• Proof of having studied Mathematics at +2 level (even as an additional subject)
• Internship Certificate.

IIT Kharagpur MMST Application fee:

The application fee required is as follows:

• General/ EWS/ OBC and all Male/Transgender: INR 1800.
• SC/ST/PwD and all Female candidates: INR 900.
