I am a first-year student so I do have no in-depth knowledge of placements but I share what is shared with us by IIT KHARAGPUR Students become eligible for an internship in 3rd year when they are selected via cgpa and their interview. And students became eligible for placements in 4th year. Various companies come to campus for placement. In 2023 the highest package is 2.68 crore per annum. Approximately 80% of students get placed. After my degree, I am planning for my start-up.
At my college, students generally become eligible for campus placements from the seventh semester of their course. We had a wide range of companies visiting the campus, including industry leaders. In the last placement season, our college witnessed a substantial number of offers, with 90% of students securing jobs. The highest package offered was around 36 lakhs per annum, while the average package ranged from 16 lakhs per annum. Students were offered diverse profiles, including software development, data analytics, and management roles. The placement percentage was quite high of students landing placements through the campus placement process." "While my college didn't offer campus placements, it prioritized building students' employability skills through workshops and training programs. After completing my degree, I plan to active
The course curriculum is not very difficult. We had fun studying about civil. The faculty members are quite helpful and encourage us to think differently. Teachers are well qualified and everyone does have a phd degree. The exams are held timely and we had our mid-semester exams recently and it was not that difficult to pass. If one studies diligently, he/she can score quite well on the exam.
I chose this course because of my keen interest in Metallurgical and Material Sciences. The faculties and professors are very helpful and supportive. They are highly knowledgeable in their respective fields.
I have chosen this course because it was the best match for my interest and rank secured in Jee advance, it is the 3rd most paying course in the States has many research fields, it is also pseudocircital branch.
The course curriculum was updated in 2020, so the syllabus is the latest. I chose this course because this was the best course I was getting through my JEE rank. Faculties are average, though some of them are really good but they are rare. Exams are moderate, and easy relative to JEE advanced.
I chose to take up a B.Tech degree from the Department of Civil Engineering. The course is not very difficult but rather it's fun. We don't have a lot to study but whatever we study, we need to focus on that properly. Faculty members are kind and really helpful. As IITians, we start to study just a week before exams and that time is enough if we study diligently. The paper is not very difficult if you're prepared enough.
My Course is B.Tech in Mining Engineering and it is a quite good Non-tech field, also has lots of scope in India as well as abroad. There is enough faculty to clear all the doubts of the students. All the faculties are helpful. There are 60 students in a class in every department.
7th semester for Btech students and 9th semester for dual degree students. Various companies like Microsoft, Google, McKinsey, and offers are around 1500-1600 including all the companies. The highest package was 2.68 cr for the 2022 - 2023 placement season and the average was around 15-16 lakhs per annum. around 80 percent. My plan after my degree is to continue with my job.
I chose this course because of my interest. The student-faculty ratio is around 1:100. The professors are highly qualified and have very interesting teaching methods. There is one mid-sem and one end sem and the difficulty of exams depends on the subjects.
