Bachelor of Veterinary Science [BVSc] & A.H. From West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences, Kolkata

Aspirants seeking admission to 5 year Full-time BVSc & A.H. Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement

• The Candidate should be 17 years and not more than 25 years as on 31st December of the year of admission. There shall be a relaxation of the upper age limit by maximum 5 (five) years for SC/ST/OBC-A & B candidates.
• The candidate must qualify and obtain a rank in the EVETS conducted by WBJEEB.
• The candidate must be a domicile of West Bengal.
• The candidate must pass Higher Secondary ( 10+2) Examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in science stream from any recognized Board/ Council (As per to the list of recognized boards accepted by WBJEEB), from any institution within West Bengal.
• The candidate must pass the Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the above four subjects in regular class mode.
• The candidate must obtain at least 70 % marks (60 % in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBCA, OBC-B, PwD) in above four subjects taken together.

Entrance Exam:

Candidates must qualify one of the following entrance test - AIPVT.

The reservations seats of SC-22%, ST-6%, OBC-A-10%, OBC-B-7%, VCI Nominee-15% for B.V.Sc. Course and ICAR Nominee-15% for B.F.Sc. & B.Tech. (D.T.) course, Person with Disability (PwD)-5%*
