• Pre-University/ Higher Secondary/ 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subjects from recognized board or university.
• A minimum of 45% in the above examinations (40% in case of reserved category) with the above subjects.
• Also, they must appear for JEE Mains/ JEE Advanced/ Karnataka CET/ COMED-K/ PUEET/ any other state-level examinations.
• For admission in the Lateral Entry, the candidate should have a diploma in Engineering with an aggregate of 45% in diploma (40% in reserved category).

Presidency University B.Tech. Admission Guidelines

Admissions for B.Tech. programs are entrance based. Presidency University offers admissions on the basis of entrance exams like JEE Mains/ JEE Advanced/ Karnataka CET/ COMED-K/ PUEET/ any other state-level examinations.

How to Apply? 

1. Visit the official website of Presidency University.
2. Click on the application link once it is launched by the university for a particular session.
3. Register yourself on the admission portal with your credentials.
4. Login with the registered credential.
5. Fill in the exam score through which the application is being submitted.
6.  Fill in all other details like contact information, personal and educational information.
7. Pay the application charges (around INR 1000 refundable) as mentioned by the university.
8. Click on “Submit”.
9. Take the printout of the application form for future reference.

Counseling 

Applicants shortlisted will be informed through mail or telephonically to apply for counseling procedure.

Take the following documents during the counseling procedure:

• Anyone ID Proof (Driving License/ Voter ID/ Aadhar Card/ PAN Card)
• Original 10th Mark sheet with 2 sets of photocopies
• Original 12th Mark sheet/ Online Print (If Mark sheet is unavailable) with 2 sets of photocopies
• JEE Mains/ JEE Advanced/ COMED-K/ PUEET/ Karnataka CET Score Cards (Whatever is applicable) and original Transfer Certificate with 2 sets of photocopies
• Migration Certificate from the previous institute with 2 sets of xerox copy
• Two recent passport size photographs (same as in application form)

Based on the counseling process, applicants will be offered admission to the selected course.

Finally, submit the required documents to the university after being offered the admission letter.
