Maharaja Agrasen College offers BA, BA (Hons), B.Com. (Hons), B.Sc and B.Sc (Hons) programs in various disciplines at Undergraduate level. The basic eligibility for taking admission into Maharaja Agrasen College is 10+2 in the relevant subject group. Marks in the qualifying examination is the only criteria to secure admission. While, for BA (Hons) in Business Economics, candidates need to clear the DU JAT exam. Final selection is made on the basis of a cut off list published by the admission authority of Delhi University. Maharaja Agrasen College UG Eligibility Criteria:

• For admission into BA (H) Business Economics, candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks in the concerned subject group 
• For admission into BA (H) English/ Journalism, candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks in aggregate with English as a compulsory subject and combination of best three other elective subjects
• For admission into BA (H) Political Science, candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 55% marks in either English or any one of languages and combination of the best three other subjects from elective subjects
• For admission into BA (H) Hindi, candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks in aggregate with English as a compulsory subject and a combination of the best three other elective subjects. Those who have secured 40% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in the concerned subject are also eligible
• For admission into BA (Programme), candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 40% marks with one language and three best academic/ elective subjects
• For admission into B.Com (H), candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks with Mathematics/ Business Mathematics as a compulsory subject
• For admission into B.Sc (H), candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 55% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50% in one compulsory language subject 
• For admission into B.Sc. (Physical Science), candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks or more in Physics, Chemistry/ Computer Science, Mathematics and one language i.e. English 

OR

 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry/ Computer Science, Mathematics and 40% marks in one compulsory language. Selection will be made on the basis of marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry/Computer Science, Mathematics

• For admission into B.Sc. (Mathematical Science), candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 45% aggregate marks and 50% marks in Mathematics. The merit shall be based on one language, Mathematics and two best elective/ academic subjects

• Admission into BA (H) Business Economics will be done on the basis of marks obtained in DU JAT exam

The college offers a 2-years Advanced Diploma program in TV and News Production. For admission into this course, the basic eligibility is 10+2. Selection is done on the basis of composite marks secured in the ‘Best Four’ subjects followed by Interview.

Delhi University has introduced the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admission to UG courses for all its affiliated colleges. The entire process is explained below:

Phase 1: CSAS Application Form

• Aspirants are required to fill the CSAS application form on the centralized admission portal by paying a one-time non-refundable application fee.
• ECA and sports quota candidates will have to pay an additional fee.

Phase 2: Selection of Courses and College Preferences

• Second phase will start after the results of the CUET examination are declared.
• After the CUET Result declaration, eligible candidates will have to select the courses and fill the preference of desired colleges on the centralised CSAS portal.

Phase 3: Seat Allocation and Final Admission

• Merit list will be declared on the basis of CUET scores.
• Multiple rounds of seat allotment will be conducted. 
• Candidates will have to check if they have been allotted a seat on the CSAS dashboard. If allotted, candidates must accept their seat on or before the given date for that particular round.
• Seat allocation will be based on multiple factors such as - combination of college and program chosen, position of the candidate on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.
• Upon acceptance of seat, the university will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the payment of fee.
