IT at VIIT Pune seems to be a better choice than IT at GCE Karad because of the quality of education it offers.

VIIT is an autonomous college and functions under the umbrella of VIT. Most changes taking place in VIT are implemented in VIIT too so students are offered updated curriculum and better opportunities.
The city of Pune will offer better exposure and opportunities than Karad.
VIIT has an active entrepreneurship culture almost similar to VIT. So if you are planning to create a startup, this is the best place for you. You will receive constant assistance from the faculties as well as the institute.
VIT and VIIT placements are combined so that they attract many companies. This year the average package stood at INR 7.5 LPA. Top recruiters included Ansys Software, BP Singapore, JP Morgan, Veritas, Black Rock, etc.
The foreign exchange programs offered by the institute will give you a chance to study abroad in top universities in the USA, Canada, Germany, Singapore, etc.
