SGTB Khalsa college offers UG courses for the duration of 3 years and as a full time regular course. The courses are offered in 3 streams, Science, Humanities and Commerce. B.A (Hons.), B.Sc, B.Sc (Hons.), B.Com courses are offered in various specialisations. To be eligible for any of UG courses students must pass 10+2 level from a recognized board with a minimum required marks. Selection will be done on the basis of merit.

SGTB Khalsa College UG Selection Process 

Selection to UG courses are based on the CUET examinations conducted by the university followed by e-counselling rounds. Those candidates who qualify in their CUET examinations will be required to enroll for e-counselling. Candidates will then be able to choose which college they wish to attend through the two rounds of e-counselling. 

Furthermore, CUET examinations are divided into three sections:

• Section 1 Languages: this further contains two sections, ‘A’ and ‘B’. Section ‘A’ contains 13 languages such as Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, etc. Section ‘B’ contains 20 languages such as French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, etc. For admission candidates must at least appear in one language. 
• Section 2 Domain Specific: There are 27 domain specific subjects in this section. Candidates are required to refer to the program specific eligibility criteria in order to select domain specific subjects. 
• Section 3 General Test: General test for any UG programme offered by the university where the general test is being used for admission. Candidates must refer to the program specific eligibility criteria for selecting general tests.

Candidates applying for UG courses at SGTB Khalsa College must follow the below-mentioned application process:

• Candidates have to register themselves on the common application portal of CUET. 
• After the registration, candidates can begin to fill the Online Application Form using their credentials 
• Candidates must fill the Online Application Form with care as they will not be able to make any changes in the future. 
• Candidates are advised to carefully select the college and courses they want to opt for UG programmes. 
• Candidates need to attach certain documents while submitting the form such as photograph, signature, identity proof, etc. 
• Candidates need to pay the application fee at the time of submitting the form or else the Online Application Form will not be considered. 
• Candidates can login to their portals for any new updates, college cutoffs and so forth.
• Candidates who are accepted must report to college where the cutoff percentage is met. • Admission is granted on the basis of merit and valid DUET scores.
• As per DU guidelines students who have completed their Graduation from any of the DU affiliated colleges and are seeking for PG admission in the relevant field can opt for merit based admission. 
• Candidates Graduating from different universities or with a Bachelor’s degree in different subjects, must qualify the DU conducted entrance exam (DUET).

Apart from UG & PG courses, the college also offers a PG Diploma course. It is a single specialisation course offered for a duration of 1 year and as a full time regular course. The PG Diploma course falls within the PG programme. As per the eligibility criteria, students must pass graduation from a recognized university. Selection will be based on the marks secured in 10+2 level.

Candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria to be selected for the Certificate & Diploma courses.

Delhi University has introduced the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admission to UG courses for all its affiliated colleges. The entire process is explained below:

Phase 1: CSAS Application Form

• Aspirants are required to fill the CSAS application form on the centralized admission portal by paying a one-time non-refundable application fee.
• ECA and sports quota candidates will have to pay an additional fee.

Phase 2: Selection of Courses and College Preferences

• Second phase will start after the results of the CUET examination are declared.
• After the CUET Result declaration, eligible candidates will have to select the courses and fill the preference of desired colleges on the centralised CSAS portal.

Phase 3: Seat Allocation and Final Admission

• Merit list will be declared on the basis of CUET scores.
• Multiple rounds of seat allotment will be conducted. 
• Candidates will have to check if they have been allotted a seat on the CSAS dashboard. If allotted, candidates must accept their seat on or before the given date for that particular round.
• Seat allocation will be based on multiple factors such as - combination of college and program chosen, position of the candidate on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.
• Upon acceptance of seat, the university will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the payment of fee.
