VIT Result 2022: Merit List, Cut Off, Counselling, Ranking

Students can check VIT University results under two categories i.e. Entrance exam result conducted for admission to the VIT University and Semester results conducted internally (semester/year) in order to access the performance of the students in subsequent years/semesters post-admission

VIT Semester Exam Result 2022

The university follows the semester system pattern for most of its courses viz. Odd and Even semester. End semester examinations are generally conducted in December/ January for odd semester and in the month of May/ June for even semesters. Results for the same are published on the official university website within several days from the examinations. Students can check their name wise & marks wise result through the official website of the university by following the given steps:

1. Visit the official website of the university.
2. On the home page click on the result section.
3. Now select the link of ‘Result for B.Tech&M.Tech courses’ along with semester number.
4. Enter roll number, Date of Birth (DOB) or other desired detail.
5. Click on SUBMIT & result will be displayed on the screen.

VIT University VITEEE Result 2022

VITEEE Entrance Exam result as conducted (VITEEE  for B.Tech, VITMEE for M.Tech & MCA, VITREE for M.Phil & PhD) by the Institute, are displayed on VIT University Website. The Result displays the marks obtained in various sections respectively. Top scorers under 1 to 20000 of rank range & from 20000 to 40000 of the range are called for the counselling process at both Vellore & Chennai campus of the VIT University.

VITEEE Cutoff Marks & Merit List:

After the declaration of VITEEE result, the cutoff marks are displayed by the exam board. Division of cutoff marks depends strictly on the category of the students. Students can follow these simple steps to check their VITEEE result.

1. Initially, visit the home page of VIT University.
2. Now click on the link provided & enter Application number along with the Password (whatever you have entered at the time of registration).
3. Click on the ‘SUBMIT’ button & result will be displayed on the screen.
4. Students are advised to save & take the printout of the scorecard for counselling purpose.

VITEEE Result through SMS:

The university also informs the students about their VITEEE rank through SMS on the registered number, but at the same time also advise them to not to rely on the SMS only. Students are advised to check the official website of the VIT University consistently.

VITEEE Cutoff Evaluation:

The Result will only state the marks obtained by the candidate. VIT does not follow the traditional cutoff evaluation strategy but it goes for the equating methodology. This process includes the statistical method to formulate the difference between rank & the merit list.

VITEEE Counselling:

Multiple counselling rounds are conducted in multiple cities across India and therefore the higher the rank of the candidate, better are their chances of securing a seat in the desired branch & campus. Last year more than 1.5 lakh applicants were registered for the first round of the VIT counselling. However, VIT had invited up to 99, 990 candidates for counselling.
