Mr. Dipnath Mukherjee is working as a Head of Training and Placement at NSHM School of Tourism and Hotel Management. He has done graduation in Hotel Management and Catering Technology. He has experience of 29 years working as a Chef, Associate Professor and Head of various departments in multiple institutions. His areas of skills are Food and Beverage Production (Indian & International cuisine) and Soft Skills. He has taught courses on Food and Beverage Production, Culinary Skills and Personality Development.

What is your philosophy of leadership? 

“I believe in teamwork and growth of everyone”

In my opinion, the philosophy of leadership is to remain self-motivated, focused, and adaptable and motivate the entire association to achieve the target together as a team. Finally, it should be the duty of the leader to see that no one is left behind. 


What are some plans that you are currently designing for your College and its students?

“We are providing a wide variety of training for the overall growth of students”

We are currently focusing on virtual interview skill development for students, overseas training and placements, soft skill development on virtual platforms, psychometric, aptitude test, and competency mapping for all students.

Which extracurricular activities are conducted in college to enhance the skills of students?

“Sessions and conferences on latest industry demands are organized in college”

We do conduct various extracurricular activities which mainly include seminars and workshops on peripheral areas like Wine appreciation, Food Photography, Soft skill development, Interview competencies, performing arts, Cookery and Cocktail shows, to name a few.
