IIIT Hyderabad MTech admission 2024 will be based on the GATE scores. For IIIT Hyderabad MTech Admission 2024, GATE Registrations have started from August 30. IIIT Hyderabad M.Tech Entrance Exam Pattern

The pattern of the Common entrance exam for M.Tech. admission in the institution is objective type with two papers in it namely, General Aptitude paper and Subjective Paper. 90 mins will be given for each paper and the total duration of the test is 180 minutes. 

• The General Aptitude paper consists of four main sections of questions in it such as Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, Basic Aptitude, and Computer knowledge questions. 
• For each of the specialized M.Tech. courses offered by the institution, the candidates have to choose the subjective papers accordingly. 
• The subjective paper consists of the topics from the subjective selections made by the candidates. This includes: Computational Linguistics, Electronics and Communication and Structural Engineering, and Mathematics, etc. as made valid by the University from time to time.
