NIT Raipur offers scholarships to its needy students on the merit cum means basis to lessen their financial burden and promote quality education among the meritorious students of the institute. The scholarship is only offered to the students pursuing any of the NIT Raipur professional degree courses after cracking the national level entrance examinations. However, the basic eligibility/requirements for the NIT Raipur Scholarship are mentioned below.

Students who haven't appeared in any of the entrance examinations for admission to NIT should have scored a minimum of 50% or above marks in their 10+2.
The annual parental income of the candidate from all the sources should not exceed INR 2.5 lakhs.
