DTU BTech is a four-years UG program specializing in 14 courses. Admission to the BTech program at DTU is done as per the JEE Main Score followed by JAC Delhi Counselling. The first year fees for BTech program at DTU is INR 2.19 Lakh. The total intake capacity of the program is 2515. Delhi Technical University (DTU) also offers lateral entry admission in 5 of its BTech courses.

DTU BTech Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates applying for B.Tech program must have passed 10+2 scoring at-least 60% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and have passed in English from a recognised board or an equivalent
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PD must have minimum 50% marks while CW candidates must have at least 55% marks.
- 85% seats are reserved for Delhi region candidates and 15% is reserved for Non-Delhi candidates
- Selection will be based on score obtained in JEE Main (Paper I)

Admissions at DTU are based on the rank secured in JEE Main (Paper I). Candidates with a valid JEE main score need to apply to Joint Admission Counseling (JAC), Delhi for the choice-filling and choice locking process. There are four rounds of JAC Delhi counselling. - The candidate has to visit the official site of JAC to fill-up the form.
- Candidates will have to enter their JEE Main application number, Name (as per JEE admit card) and Date of Birth (as per JEE application)

DTU BTech Scholarships
Merit scholarships amounting to INR 10,000/- or 5000/- are given to deserving and meritorious students. Apart from this, the institute also offers fee concession to students whose family annual income is less than INR 4,50,000/-.

DTU BTech Placements
The Training and Placement cell at Delhi Technological University not only aims for 100% placement but also to provide ample opportunities in a variety of profiles and domains. The T&P cell conducts various workshops and programs to enhance the student’s skill. Leading companies not only offer placement opportunities but also paid internships to the students of DTU. The university also encourages B.Tech students for industrial training and therefore, students have to do an internship of 4 weeks (Dec-Jan) after the 5th semester during winter vacations and an internship of 8 weeks during summer vacations after the 6th semester. DTU BTech (Lateral) Eligibility Criteria
The minimum eligibility required for the Lateral admission to the DTU BTech program is a Diploma/BTech degree in Engineering. To be more specific, a candidates must have:
- Three year regular Diploma in any branch of Engineering awarded by any State Board of Technical Education/Diploma recognized by AICTE, Delhi with 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.
DTU BTech (Lateral) Entry Admission
Admission to the DTU BTech (Lateral Entry) program is done through Common Entrance Exam (CEE). Candidates submitting a prinout of duly filled online application form are considered for entrance exam. The application form is to be first filled online at the DTU website and then a hard copy of the form is to be submitted at the campus. The application fee required to complete the process is INR 1500.
