NIT Delhi PhD Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates with a Master's degree or a Master’s degree by Research in Engineering / Technology disciplines with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or CGPA of 6.5/10 for Open / OBC category, and 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA of 6.0 for SC/ST candidates, in UG and in PG.
- Candidates appearing in their final exams are also eligible to apply provided they have to submit their provisional mark sheet with no backlog papers.
NIT Delhi Ph.D. Selection Criteria
- The selection procedure consists of three stages, Screening of the application, Entrance Test, and Interview.
- The screening will be conducted by the screening committee who will verify the eligibility of the candidate.
- The shortlisted applicants must appear for the entrance test followed by an interview. A candidate securing at least 40% marks in the Entrance test shall be declared qualified in the test.
- Preference is given to candidates with relevant work experience, project work & thesis, and performance in the interview.
