NIT Hamirpur MBA Eligibility Criteria

• The applicant must have CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale (or equivalent) or 60% marks in case of Open/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates in the qualifying degree (Bachelor degree or equivalent in any discipline of minimum three years duration). 
• Whereas in case of SC/ST candidates, a CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-Point scale (or equivalent) or 55% marks in qualifying degree shall be applicable. 
• Candidates who have appeared or are about to appear in final examination of their qualifying degree programme and have completed all other formalities for award of their Bachelor Degree are eligible to apply subject to production of their final degree/certificate by the time of admission.

To participate in the selection process, apart from fulfilling minimum eligibility criteria, the applicant should have a valid score in any of the CAT/ CMAT/ MAT. Selection will be based on weightage assigned to management admission tests (CAT/ CMAT/ MAT) and candidate’s test percentile. The weightage assigned to the tests are as follows:

• The applicants have to apply online through the link pgadmissions.nith.ac.in. No other means of application shall be allowed. 
• A candidate has to first register with valid email Id and mobile number.
• Application fee of INR 1200 for Open/EWS/OBC and Rs. 600 for SC/ST is to be paid online through SBI Collect (https://www.onlinesbi.com/sbicollect).
•  After registration and payment of the fee, login on the portal and fill the online application form.

• The MBA program comprises 4 semesters and the course structure of the program consists of a list of Core Subjects, Elective Subjects, Seminars, Projects/Dissertation etc.
• The evaluation of students in a particular course is based on his/her performance in Continuous Semester Assessment (tutorials, assignments, class test, quizzes, laboratory work, viva, etc.), Mid Semester Examination, and End Semester Examination.
• The MBA students are required to have a minimum of 75% attendance record in all theory and laboratory courses.
• The courses of the MBA program contains 90 credits in total out of which 82 are course credits and 8 are project work credits.
