LPU B.Arch Course
LPU provides a 5 years Bachelor of Architecture course divided into 10 semesters approved by COA.
LPU B.Arch Eligibility Criteria
- Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 with English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or Biology or Computer Science or IT or Business Study or Engineering Graphics or Informatics Practice or Technical Vocational Subject subject to qualifying NATA 2024 Or
- Pass with 50% in Diploma (any stream) (3 years) (with Mathematics) or equivalent, subject to qualifying NATA 2024.
- For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium or an equivalent subject.
LPU B.Arch Admission Criteria
- Merit prepared with a weightage of 50% marks for aptitude tests (NATA 2024) or LPUNEST, and 50% marks in the qualifying examination, subject to eligibility criteria.
LPU B.Arch Application Process 2024
LPU B.Arch Admission 2024 is ongoing. Interested candidates can follow the steps given below to apply for B.Arch at LPU Jalandhar:
Step 1: Signup
- Register on the LPU official admission portal with all the basic details required (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password).
- After successful registration, you will get an email on your registered email ID.
- Login to LPU ADMIT using your previously created username and password.
Step 2: Apply for LPUNEST
LPUNEST is an online entrance test conducted to offer admission to programs you are interested in. Admission to B.Arch is done based on performance in LPUNEST and Interview.
- Deposit the test fee:
- The application form and a soft copy of the LPUNEST Kit cost INR 1000 (for boys) and INR 500 (for girls).
- The cost of the application form and the printed LPUNEST kit is Rs.1500 (for boys) and INR 1000 (for girls).
- Fill out the test application form.
Step 3: Book the exam slot
- Book the time slot as per your preferred date, time, and venue to appear in the test.
- You can choose from the 200 cities in India where the test will be conducted.
- Download the examination hall ticket.
- Appear and qualify for the exam.

My friend is pursuing BArch from LPU. What makes LPU stand out from other architecture colleges is the curriculum - the topics included in its syllabus include design approach, material and construction, climatology, services, aesthetics, urban context through schematic drawings, and 3D visualizations.
LPU is currently ranked at the 16th spot by NIRF. It is considered among the top 5 private colleges for Architecture, Design and Planning disciplines in India.
During my friend’s course, he pointed out the following points:
